I heard from one of my relatives that there is a brain surgery cure for schizophrenia. Please tell me about it and if it is currently available for anyone to use.
Hi, I don't know about surgery but I would advise you not to do any surgery. I think it's better to use medication. Let me tell you the success of my wife. Thirteen years ago my wife was diagnosed with psychosis. She was seeing visual images and was unhinged from reality. She was hospitalized several times and given many medications but nothing seems to work and the last medication was Prozac. Nothing was effective for her. She was just like a zombie who doesn’t know what she is doing or whatever. I was extremely worried for her. Seeing me being desperate, the doctor prescribed the last medicine called clopixol and she stayed on it and we did see an improvement in her condition though she was not completely well. Months passed by and my wife was completely cured. Clopixol was of great help for my wife.
i have just read your msg and would like to tell you you have given me so much hope my son is severley ill with drug resistant paranoid schizoprenia he has tried all the medications going and clopixel is the last resort in a bid to get him well although i have my reservations bout the side effects just to see him have peace of mind will be wonderfull i jus hope it works for him thanks for giving me hope sara xx

Sara, how is your son doing on the Clopixol? Is it licensed for use in the US? Does it cause weight gain like Clozapine and Zyprexa? Thanks.
How do you guys know the best medication for the person? by brother is on recipodral and its working fine, but I wonder if the others will work better on him? he's got a mild sz. And I really was hoping there was surgery to cure it!
