I recommend Santa Clara Valley Medical Center if you need healthcare for someone who will be eventually disabled permanently with paranoid schizophrenia. The hospital is connected with the County and has many resources if the patient is under conservatorship...you can seek advice from the County Social Worker or Caseworder in this regards. Once patient is hospitalized, you can apply for Social Security Disability and make sure you apply for Medi-Cal or Medicare with the disability because it is 3 months retroactive (meaning 3 months back-dated) for health costs.
Santa Clara Valley Medical Center is an average place for treatment and accepts all patients from any financial background. The positive side to receiving treatment is their connection with the county with available resources that not only addresses patients health but future in the community. |
