I recently had positive anti-ccp and rf tests, but have a significant wait before I could get an appt w/ a rheumatologist. My worst pain is in my hips and lower back which seems to be a symptom of spondylitis. However, when I look at tests for AS, a different set of blood tests is indicated. I am curious if anyone knows if spondylitis is associated with positive RA tests? I am a 58 year old woman,and it seems I don't fit the age/sex profile for AS, either...
