I am 37 and was diagnosed with RA 2 months ago.
Has undenatured type II chicken collagen worked for anyone out there?

My aunt who has had RA for four years now tried the collagen therapy without success.

My good friend who has had RA for years now has found success using a mangosteen supplement called Xango. Give it a try, he has nothing but praise for it.

Thanks for the info on Xango, that will be my next experience.
I have ,however, noticed increasing reduced symptoms of RA approaching week four of my UCII collagen experiment. (a healthier diet and no processed food might be helping as well)

Week five of UCII, almost painless now / no swelling.
After the Easter weekend, I'm, going to decrease the Prednisoe and see what happens.

Here is some general info on UCII. I get it from "Swanson". I figured it was worth a try(due to it's lack of side effects) before I got into the heavy duty treatments from my Dr.I may need to some time down the road, but , with a change in diet and UCII I am having pretty good results. Search the web for undenatured type 2 chicken collagen for deeper info.

Oh Scott! No - wrong direction. animal protein encourages inflammation. Why would you want to do that?? Of course Tyson sells the stuff - they torture and sell chickens for an obscene profit. There is so much good research (not from the US of course) that shows the value of a vegetarian diet for any disease that involves inflammation. I have had RA all my adult life, and the veg diet is basic to avoiding pain and disfigurement.
