Is there alot of unexplained muscle pain associated with RA? I am newly diagnosed with RA and am also having a problem dealing with the fatigue. Does this ever get better?
i have experienced a number of weird things. first off does RA just hit u like a ton of bricks out of the clear blue sky? i started a new job in march of 09 which requires me to stand for 8hours with only a 15 min break within my shift, floors are tiled concrete, i have proper shoes however, ever since i started there my fatigue has skyrocketed and i have intense pain in the following areas...heres how it began... 1-noticed soreness in bottoms of feet, on ball of foot on left noticed a sore lump... 2-top of same foot, a mass that is actually separating my second and third toe slightly..also sore... 3-large protruding hard lump on right inner wrist area, no pain just a bump(has since dissappeared) 4-bottoms of feet feel constantly bruised, painful to walk... 5-limited movement in my left ankle. feels as though the muscle has shrunk, very stiff 6-extreme pain in right wrist, also accompanied by a squishie type mass on top of wrist, within moving right arm, i can feel pain from my shoulder to the first knuckle in my hand 7-knees, oh my...the pain described here is as though my knees are going to buckle backwards snapping my legs like lil twigs. OVERVIEW... pain in -bottoms of both feet -left ankle -right wrist -right elbow -right shoulder does any of this sound like RA or do u feel there is some underlying situation occuring with me... sorry for such a long post, but this is really beginning to scare me, being a wife with two teenage children, I would really appreciate some guideance to know where i stand. keep in mind all of these symptoms occured within a 7 month period, getting progressively worse as each day goes by,,,any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks all for your time in reading and lending assistance, have a great day!--dawn
