Ouch ouch ohhhhh ouch!! It's been about a week now and I am definitely going to the doctor on Monday morning. I have been diagnosed with RA 8 years ago and other than little aches and pains I have never had a flare.....up until this week that is. My left foot in the metatarcel phalanges (spelling?) area is swollen beyond belief and hurts like heck. I've iced and taken pain meds and swelling reducers to no avail. At the same time I am getting twinges of a deep boring pain in ankles, knees, hips, fingers, wrists, elbows, shoulders and rib cage. So I'm pretty sure I'm in a flare. What can I expect at the doctor's office tomorrow? Not a rheumy but my primary physician. Thank you!
