Hello! I was diagnosed with RA in my hands years ago, as a teen. It has since gone into remission (I guess), and is rarely sore or stiff. I can now fully bend the affected 2 fingers. I have noted that my index finger is showing symptoms, though still very mild. My problem is that on occasion something will happen to cause injury to the joint. I am currently typing with one hand after my poor husband ran into my hand--my bad finger, actually--and it is now so painful and stiff I don't even want to try moving it. What I don't know is, what is the best way to treat this??
