Ok, I am newly diagnosed with RA.

I have found that I am waking up achy but if I get going I can get on with my day but then by 3-4pm I am starting to really hurt a lot more. If I do a normal days activity, lifting kids, laundry, cleaning etc then the next day I just hurt right from the start. I am only on Celebrex right now awaiting a Rheumatologist appointment. I have been on the Celebrex for a week now and it doesn't seem to be doing anything. When I know I need to feel good for a day I find myself not wanting to do anything but sleep the day before so hopefully I will feel ok for the day I need to be ok.

Does any of this sound normal? Anything help the fatigue? The pain? I just lay around with heating packs on my joints that hurt most.

Thanks for the help.

Hi Lotokids!! I have lots too.
I do exactly what you do. Rest up for important days. It is what it is, I guess? We do what we have to.
But, it does get better when you are out of a flare. At least for me it did. I no longer sleep 12 hours. I am feeling much better. Guess it's been 5 months since flare and DX. So, time will tell.
Good luck to you.

p.s. Do I know you from somewhere? Wink
