I've had ra for 14 yrs now took methotrxate for 13 yrs. Was dx with cns vasculitis last year. I came off methotrxate because of gastr. problems. At least that is what they think it was.For the past 8 years I lost my appetite and weight. It came and went for awhile then it never went away.I could eat no more than half a sandwich at a time . That would be it for the day. I,m on imuran now. has anyone tried enbrel?
Hi, thanks for your message on enbrel. I have been on enbrel almost 2 years now and take mtx once a week as weel. I was in horrible shape before enbre, barely walking could not close my hands and lived in terrible pain. Its been working great and I am so thank-ful to be functioning again. How are you doing with your enbrel? Do you have ra? I have ra. Does weather changes really bother you? Have you had any bad side effects on enbrel? Manga
HiManga, I'm not on it yet. They want me to start.How do you tolerate the mtx. Dioes it bother your stomach? I'm a little apprehensiveabout starting it. I have alot of feet trouble . Hips thats awhole other ballgame.I toss and turn all night . I'll lay on one till it's screaming then turn over till the other does the same thing.My hands are really bothering me now.
