Hello,
My husband was diagnosed with sudden and severe RA in 2000, secondary to a severe case of food poisoning. He went on Enbrel in 2003? It really helped in so many ways and we felt like the RA was essentially in remission (as long as he was on the Enbrel and Arava).
Unfortunately, a year ago, he was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. The good news was that the chemo therapy put his RA into remission-without any of the RA meds. However, he is now having a return of the swelling to several of his joints.
I have been trying to find information on the connection between RA, Enbrel and Hodgkins lymphoma---and also get information on how you go about treating the RA if and when it returns.
Any information is greatly appreciated
