Hi, I am new to this site. I was diagnosed with RA about four years ago. I currently take methotrexate and was on an injectable through a clinical trial. It was the only option I had since my insurance wouldn't cover the Embrel and I really couldn't afford it. Anyway, I just found out today that my clinical trial was stopped. I am having a lot of anxiety about what the future holds. The combination of these two meds was the only thing that had worked and I was finally able to get off of prednisone. Does anybody have any suggestions? I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

Hi Carey - I would discuss with your Rheumatologist. There might be financial assistance available. I know there is for Humira if insurance won't cover it...not sure about Enbrel, but I would certainly ask. There has to be a way for you to get these meds. Sending positive thoughts your way...CJ
