I'll try to make this as brief as possible.
Passed a kidney stone in April. (1st and hopefully the last) About a week to 10 days later developed a stinging in the penis and urgency to urinate as well as pain upon sitting more than a few minutes. The G.P.'s had me on Cipro for 80 days! In the past, 14 days did the trick. This won't clear up. Referred to a Urologist. Took me off Cipro as it obviously wasn't helping and put me on an alpha -blocker and anti-inflamatory. The Flomax caused heart palpitations and mini panic attacks. Had been on Flomax 6 years ago with no problems and it fixed me right up. I don't get it. After 7 weeks of Naproxen I had stomach pains the Uro figured might be ulcers. I went off anti-inflamatory for 3 weeks and used Nexium to
help with stomach pains. So here I still am since April unable to sit very long and still with an urgency to urinate often. I drink more water daily now than before due to kidney stone.
Have another appointment with Uro in 7 days.
After kidney stone passed had ultrasound to rule out any more stones and that prostate was okay.
Have not had rectal ultrasound yet or any other
imaging. Has anyone else had this crummy disease hang on for so long? In the past it's always been treatable. I just want to get back to my job asap after 5 months off. I work 10 hour shifts 4 days a week at (you guessed it) a sit down computer job. Thanks for reading my novel. Any advice on how to speed up recovery would be appreciated, thanks.

Hey isn this a great disease. Just kidding. Its been the worst thing to happen to me particularly the lack of sleep. geebee you have had it worse than I with kidneystones too, I dont know how you withstood 80 days of cipro a week nearly killed me. Actually the cipro made it worse. Im telling you the three urologists I saw were lets say incometent to say the least. Now here whats helped me I dont know wheather it will help you but am glad to pass it on. Ive had prostatitus since April which started as a bad back pains. Now the urologists I went to didnt know about a lot of supliments or cared . Supliments have helped me the most The first supliment that helped me a lot was Prostifil 2. This is a pollen extract ( not bee pollen) . It is expensive but definitely helped me Its hard to find only us dist is relentless improvement 877 448 1625 around 40. for 90 caps .You want to double up on it for a week to get it into your system ( may take 2 or three wks to start to work. NO SIDE EFFECTS It helps the flow abdreduces swelling. The next supplement that helped me was and still is lycopene . I took as many as 3 6.5 mg and you can take more. The next thing is believe it or not gingerale. It must be the ginger that reduces inflamation Ialso take ginger root capsules which help also and might help your stomach problem. Ive tried other suppliments such as saw palmettoect without the effect of flower pollin. I also take a zink suppliment . Hey I hoped this helpes you out Im not out of the woods yet but the problem has almost gone away My email address is lonewolf899@msn.com You can email me anytime or anyone else can too have a good one

The canada dist for Prostifil is 1 877 786 8458 . The guys name is Andrew and he is quite knowledgeable about herbal suppliments . He has a liquid called prst uribotic which helped too. I meant three 6.5 tabs of licopene although you can take more I forgot to say that constipation agrevate my condition too so I take fibercon and metemucil . The ginger ale which helps the most is called ale 8 and i dont know if its avail in canada But canada dry works good Now ale 8 has caffene in it which might not be good for caffene related problems
