I have been on forteo since March 2009. Everything has been fine until July when I was told I had to wait 1o days for my next prescription even tho it had been 28 days. I eventually got it and thought my problem was solved until the next month August I was die on august 13th and was told again I could not receive it until the 24th. 11 days without it. I was told they work on a 180 day rotation and I could not get it until the 24th. I hsve been to hell and back, pharmacy, insurance, & doctor and back to pharmacy. Has anyone one else had this problem and am I going to have it every 4 months or so.

Hi Robert, I've never heard of such a thing with Forteo. Are you getting it from a local pharmacy or through a med supply co that sends it FedEx? Can you have the RX transfered to a new pharmacy that will guarantee refills in 28 days??? You aren't suppose to skip days with this med, can you call Eli Lily and see if they'll help you? The number is on the Forteo box--Forteo help line number. Let me know, if you get this resolved.
