Hi, I am 51yo and for 2 months used boniva. On both occasions, the next day I developed extreme stomach flu like symptoms that lasted about 4 days. Fever up to 102, chills, diareaha, vomiting and stomach pain. I saw nothing online about any reaction like this, but my doc also thought it too coincidental. So, next month I will begin fosamax. Wondering if anyone else had similar experience?
My mother has been taking boniva after having going through her menopause. She did not experience any such side effects. She has followed all the instruction of her doctor and everything went on well.
