I had a bone scan a month ago and got some numbers that were abnormal. It seems that the neck of my hip was the area was in question. It was a 2.5 or is that a -2.5? My doc suggested this fosamax. My wife thinks that we should do more research before using a drug. I am on a supplement that she got me called Bone Builder from Ethical Nutrients. The health food worker sold us some and said that her friend had great results with it. I have been using it now for a week. I will try to get a bone scan in the next 6 months to see what changed. Any information would be helpful. I thought it was strange for a 54 year old man to have Osteopenia. I am a vegetarian and have Hepititis C. I have read something about Hep C and Osteopenia. Any info on fosamax, Hep C and Osteopenia and bone supplements would be helpful. I bought 3 months worth of this fosamax and am holding out for now on taking any.
