I'm new to blogs, but I wanted to share my newest discovery. I've had OA in back and hip for 15 years. A few years ago we discovered the Ergochair which we now sell via this link http://www.sellcom.com/ergochair.html.
We've used the chair at the computer and it is great. But I have a better use. I never could get quite comfortable sitting on a couch to read; if I reclined, I usually fell asleep after 5 pages or so. But I recently got hooked on Tolstoy and wanted to keep reading so badly, I took the egg out of the ergochair and sat on it crosswise. I kept moving on the egg and read for hours at a sitting - burning calories and putting circulation into my back and hips all the time. The improvement in my OA is amazing! I get up after hours of reading and feel a new strength in my hip area. I'm even dreaming of walking better (now I use 2 canes - I'm also a polio survivor). So I acknowledge this is an answer to prayer and a healing from God. But I recommend OA people to try this Egg.
