Migraine

Hey there.

I have been wondering how you are doing. I know that times are tough right now and I'm posting to remind you to make sure you continue to get your "ME" time.

Maybe you can't take much time to yourself right now with everything that is going on but try to get at least a few minutes everyday.

Even on the worst Sol days when her health literally controls our lives I have to remind myself to do two things.

1) Begin and end the day with Dave and Sol time each and every day. Just 15 mins of US time where we don't focus on her health or the kids or money..

Sometimes we talk during this time and somtimes its just cuddling. But I make sure it happens EVERY day even if it means I go to the hospital (when she is hospitalized) or that it has to be done on the phone (when I am out of town).

2) ME time. Sounds self centered but it is so important. I have to get my DAVE time. On days when I forget and get too caught up in the stresses of life with a chronicly ill partner, my Sol reminds me to take ME time. Lately things have been crazy and I only get about 10 mins of quality Dave time but it helps a lot.

Anyways, I hope that you are doing alright. Both Sol and I think of you and Ann often hoping that things have gotten a bit better.

But I have a gut feeling they may be struggling and we sincerely hope that Ann is getting the treatment she needs.

Hi,

I just wanted to drop a quick note to everyone. We have missed everyone. If you only knew. We are doing allright. We have been really struggling with a few issues as we all do but we are surviving. I hope that Sol is doing allright. I am not able to do the computer very often anymore so that is why you havent heard from us and of course Shirley as usual has to take care of everything. I am hoping that we are the upswing right now. I really hope that everyone is doing well and you all are always in our thoughts.

Hey there. Sorry that it took me so long to respond but things have been crazy here with my wife's surgery and recovery.
