i know i've had a past post with this topic, but what can i say, it fits.

so, i guess this is the sequel post to 'balancing act'. sunday i ended up with a monster of a migraine due to my own reluctance to take medication because i was unsure if it was a rebound or migraine, by 8 pm i was sure it was a migraine.

today, i woke up feeling good, finally recovered after feeling wiped out yesterday from sunday's battle.

now, i got an aura. i haven't seen an aura since i started amitriptyline in september, so i don't know what to expect from this migraine. i took my imatrex, hopefully within the 20-30 minute window i have for it to work, and hopefully it will work.

i'll keep you all posted on what happens, now i just sit and wait and hope for the best.

darn, i thought sunday was just a fluke. i'm not a fan of this every other day stuff, i hope this trend doesn't continue.

thanks for the support, i love you all for just being there and understanding.

I really hope the imitrex works for you. Since aura is a fairly new symptom for you, you might want to call your doctor and tell him as soon as you can. Let us know how you're feeling! Group Hug

the imatrex worked/is working enough that i just want to sleep rather than die, which is nice.

nearly all the migraines i've gotten have been with aura. when i started taking amitriptyline daily, the aura went away and the migraines were less frequent and severe (for the most part). this is the first migraine with aura i have had since starting the amitriptyline.

Elayna,

Try to get a little rest...the mig probably has a better chance of passing if you can get a little sleep soon.

Imitrex, keep working!!!
