Hi,

I am usually very strong, but, this migraine has got me really hard this time. Bill knows, but he is at the station right now and I just lied to him, telling him I was okay. (he know I'm not)I just don't want to bother my family anymore.

I have not had one this bad for about four months or so. The last doc said I had migraine with aura (NOT) and thank goodness I am going to the Keeler center in 3 weeks. These are my usual symptoms but they are so bad this time. I just want them to stop!! please

I am just having a really bad time with this one. I had this since Friday, ( a new migraine every day) I get many aura, today my vision went blind Crying and I can't move my parts of my body at times Crying I can't do this anymore. Also, I can't think. I get totally confused. I was in my bathroom trying to find my way out and keep going in the closet, I could not find the door in my bedroom Crying

I know I have been through this before and I know I will be okay, I just feel devastated and want an answer and a hug.

Dar

I'm sorry you are having such a bad time right now. Here are some hugs for you. Group Hug Group Hug Group Hug Group Hug Group Hug

I know you don't want to bother your family, but I'm sure they would like to help you in anyway that they can. It seems like it might be helpful now if you had someone with you. It might make things less scary when you are getting confused.

Have you thought about going to the ER?

I'm sorry. I wish I could do something to help. Just know that everyone here wishes you well.

Dear Jean Ann,

Thank for the Hugs...you made me feel not alone...It is what I really needed Heart.

But, Rest assured, My family is the best But, my DH is a Firefighter on duty tonight, who would be there for me in a heart beat. But, I can't do that to him. And, I do not need to go to the ER yet. I have breaks.

I guess what it is that my family knows the drill, the know what is happening, I know what is happening, this is no surprise to us...but, when it is bad...IT IS TERRIFFING. We have been through this so many times before, but this time it was worse.

I know I will be okay when I can move my limbs again and can think again, but I just am so tired and want a doctor to diagnose me and tell me I am not crazy!!

1. No, you are not crazy!

2. Don't lie to your husband! Your attempts to protect him will backfire in the end. Besides, it can get to be a habit, and he really should know when things aren't going well for you.

3. Thank goodness you will be going to the Keeler Center.

4. Group Hug Group Hug Group Hug

Crying (out of empathy with you)

hey Deb & Nutcracker,

Thank you...I just really needed that tonight.

And yes, Nutcracker, your guilt got to me...I talk to Bill, he was upset I didn't tell him how bad things were, but he said, "I thought you were not right". He basically already knew, just not how bad. I just don't like him to worry about me when he has others to worry about.

I am just so tired of having these wierd symptoms and no doctor to call for help. But like nutcracker said,

3. Thank goodness you will be going to the Keeler Center.

Thank you,

HeartDar

Dar,
We are all here for you. Is there anything in your bag of tricks you've not remembered to do that might help, a bath, or shower, some type of music that helps you relax. I know when the pain get so bad the tension in my body just makes it worse.

And Dar I looked, Costco and Best Buy neither one had Magic Wands. I would have gotten it if I could.

Take care tonight,
Cindy

Dar--

Please let things be better today!!!
If not--maybe it's time for the ER. I know that's a torture chamber, but if you can live thru that, at least you'll feel better afterward!

Dar so sorry I missed you yesterday when you were really needing hugs but here's one for today! Group Hug I hope this is a better day. Lots of love to you. It's so hard to think when your head is going wild like that! Do everything you can think of (or Bill can think of, or anyone) to comfort you!

Thank you for all the hugs, You all are amazing and I mean that from my heart Heart!! I am feeling alot better today. Just prostdrome and a headache (I think from crying). Sometimes a good cry is what is in order (not good for migraines, but good for the soul).

This disease is so hard sometimes. You want to feel better and think clearly, and you just can't. And last night I felt as if I was lost, with all the wind just taken out of me. I could not find the streghth to fight anymore.

Thank you for holding me up when I could not hold myself up and giving me back some of my streghth. Thank you for reminding me I am not crazy, that it is just the disease. Thank you for helping me on my journey for a better treatment plan. And thank you for being who you are.

You all are truly the BEST Group Hug Heart Group Hug

And I say we keep searching for that majic wand that will make this disease dissappear Wink

I've been keeping track of you, but coming in late to the thread. I'm glad to hear your are "better."

It is difficult when feel we need to lie to our DH's all the while pretending we are fine. I guess it is pretty to 'fess up! I am getting better at it, just depends on the day I guess.

Hang in there. Maybe you could get a ticker for you appoinment at the Keeler Center in three weeks. Something positive to keep track of.

Go to www.Tickerfactory.com. Here are the directions: Click on "Event" and follow the directions. One tricky thing is, don't click on the Next button until you've chosen your ruler, marker, etc. Use the numbers at the bottom of the pages to change pages until you've made your choice.

On the final page, take the code under "bb code." The html code will not work on the forum. Copy it to your forum profile in the signature space. Be sure to hit Submit before you finish to save your ticker on the forum. (Thank you, Nutcracker!)

Oh Nancy,

You will love this one, I apparently I have another disease, JUST KIDDING!! I try to go to my profile and I am under the diabetes forum LOL. I don't know how I got there when I registered, but that is where my forum profile is when I log out. Go figure!!

That's why I don't have a ticker or a avator under my name. Do you know if I have to re-register? Or who I contact? I can get a ticker over in diabetes forum and an avator, but I don't know if they will understand my threads ha ha
