It's me again - having a pity party! Trying to be positive. Would appreciate your prayers and encouragement! Right now, I feel like I'm drowning. Cyn,
I'm not the best motivational speaker either. Please remember that you have taken, not all that recently, a new step toward controling your migraines. Unfortunately there is no magic formula for controling this disease. Dr. K and his staff are amazing. Remember always that you have put yourself in a position of getting the best possible care. You have a caring and knowledgable team on your side. Work with them always. You will get results!!! |

Hi Cyn,
I'm sorry you're having a rough time! You are a beautiful soul, and every time I come onto the forums, I see you have been encouraging and supporting everyone else. I'm praying you get fast relief. But in case you're still in pain when you next get on, remember that you are doing everything you can. Do whatever you can to try to relax (this is the pot calling the kettle black, here) and know that we all are sending good thoughts your way. ~Rachel |

Hey Cyn,
Everytime I come on here I see your kind hearted words for others...I'm certainly sending awesomely wonderous vibes your way.... Chin up girlfriend! hang in there mate...sometimes it's just so hard and it does feel like we're drowning... but there is hope there... in the little things... even the teeny weeny little iddy biddy things... like that other convo you started... that challenge .. I personally challenge you to focus on the really awesome little things that bring light into your life... could be your chilling out with your father God... even in your moment of absolute crappy-ness... it even says in the bible " I will never leave nor forsake you" I can't remember where but I'm sure you'll find it lol you are an amazing, beautiful, strong person... who gives so much hope... especially in your kind words...and you deserve so much more.... Kia Kaha (stay strong) Aroha Nui (Lots of love) Smile... it makes people wonder what you're thinking about |

We all get tired of our situations from time to time. That's normal. But tired of yourself? Say it ain't so! You are a divine, generous, creative, clever, kind, lovable, compassionate soul! How can you be tired of that? I don't think it's possible to get tired of someone with such qualities. Be tired of the situation all you want, 'cuz it's not fair, but not you. We certainly aren't tired of you! Hang in there! Dragondrool Forum Moderator ~~8=:>>>> |

Now I'm crying because y'all are just so darn kind and supportive!! Too bad I can't go to the store and buy a pound of patience and a sack of hope! But this forum is the next best thing! Now if I was brilliantly and musically gifted, as well as stunningly beautiful, this is where I would run around my feather bed, running in and out of the ugly curtains that I'm going to make into adorable play clothes for the children like Maria in the Sound of Music. Let's see. . . Sweet yellow roses and cold puppy noses children that giggle and warm friendly hugs and kisses Brightly hued glass through which sunlight sparkles These are a few of my favorite things A bookstore with a fire and a hot cup of chocolate Praise songs and wind chimes and smiling faces Laughter that erupts and rolls down the cheeks These are a few of my favorite things My family, my niece and nephew, my dog Marlie and my BFFs Sunsets, sunrises and rainbows that declare the wonder of God The crashing of waves and the trickling of brooks These are a few of my favorite things When the BEAST roars When life just doesn't make sense When I'm feeling sad I simply remember my favorite things And then I don't feel so bad Well - I know there is NO musicality to that - my apologies to Rodgers and Hammerstein, but boy that was fun!! Thanks for helping me to smile tonight!! Cyn "Life is too short, forgive quickly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, play with children, and never regret anything that made you smile. Cyn,
I'm so very sorry it's been rough for you. I was off the forum and didn't realize you were coming to Dallas to see Dr.K. When I saw you were coming, I was wishing I could figure out some way for us to meet. but it was too late anyway, as you had already left your home. I hope you got some relief there and a new plan to take back with you. I went off my Savella as the side effects just got too bad and so that was not fun and going thru the decision of what to do about my job and I just wasn't having a good time of it myself. Plus I thought things were settled with my neighbors, but problems have escalated again. THEY ARE CRAZY people!!! Someone egged their house and put dog poo on their front porch on Halloween night and they blame me, even though I went over and explained it was not me and helped them clean it up. I thought we were ok, but today I found a dirty baby diaper in my yard!!!! The daughter just had a new baby. There is just no winning with these people-they are addicted to the DRAMA!!! You'd think they would just go ahead and tell the truth as when I went over and confronted them, they said they had no idea how that "used newborn diaper got into my yard". Yeah, right!!! Well, at least, I stood up to them. I've gone out of my way to be nice and I've turned the other cheek. No more throwing pearls to swine. And of course all this stress does wonders for the migraines!!! And just when they were settling down! And I still haven't made a decision about my job... |
