So, I am confused, if we used a zip code box the letter doesn't go through?
I sent my letter on March 11, but not sure if I used the zip code box or not.. what does that mean?  |

Here's my confirmation letter, I just want to be sure I sent my letter out correctly...I am feeling the sadness

I have a friend who lives in your state, and he really likes Coleman. The budget resolution he's referring to is one that supported increasing the total NIH budget. The emails we just sent were for the House only and were asking them to sign a letter that would instruct the NIH to allocate more of their budget to Migraine and headache research. Sometime soon, we hope to have a similar "Dear Colleague" letter for Senators to sign. I'm betting he'll sign it! We'll be asking everyone to email their Senators when that time comes. Thanks so much!!

No sadness, sweets! You did just fine, and we DO thank you!!
There was a red "Featured Alert" box on the page with a "Take Action" button in it. BUT, the default layout of the page had a box next to the Alert box where people could enter their zip code to find all of their elected officials. If people used that instead of our Alert button, their email DID go through, but it was sent to their Senators and the President instead of just their Members of the House. I called the company we use for this service and had them remove that confusing zip code box! You can be sure your letter went through since you got the confirmation from us.

Phew! that's a relief! I really was feeling like, hey where's mine?? So I am glad it went, I still own my bragging rights.
 Seriously, I am proud of being able to take part, I wouldn't have known if Nancy didn't bring it up in the forum and I know someone had mentioned Teri's newsletter, which I am signed up for and do get but I can't get it stop going to my spam. I am working on that. I have to keep checking my spam folder more often. Thanks again.. Lori |

It is time for me to sit here and take the  that is quite rightfully due.My wife has good reason for not getting her email done as she was admitted to the hospital last minute and well couldn't. But me? I could have found the time. Sure I could say I got side tracked with work and staying by my wife's side but I would be less of a man for that. ALL of YOU struggle. All of you overcome your obstacles to live your life despite the health card you have been dealt. And yet most of you that post anyways found the 3 mins to tend to the email. After I made my post a few days before the deadline I did click the link but since I had to reboot I decided I would get to it a bit later. Then life it and bit later turned too darn late and I am sorry. Please know the respect that I hold for all of you and that I AM here for the duration. I will continue advocating along with my wife and I promise that I will pay more attention to this forum and do what is needed. Dave |
