Hi everyone,

I throwing my own pity party today. I am just so tired of these migraines. I have had on and off migraines for 9 days straight. I guess I should be happy that they are less intense then they used to be probably because of the new meds.

But, I just need one day of normalcy. Here's the deal, DH is home only today. He has been gone for a week and tomorrow will be gone for another week. I just want to feel good today.

He get it and is truly understanding, but geez!! can't the beast leave me alone just one day.

Okay, my rant is over. I just needed to get this out and I knew you all would understand. Thanks for listening.

Dar,

Group Hug Group Hug Group Hug

I'm happy to attend your pity party, I just wish you didn't have to host it!

I hope you can find a way to spend some time with DH, even if it's just relaxing on the couch by his side.

I hope you start feeling better soon!

All my best to you Group Hug Group Hug Group Hug

I'm happy to join you Dar. It should go away. It has not good reason to stay with you.

Group HugGroup HugGroup Hug I do hope it gets better for you and you can enjoy your time with DH today.

Birthday Cake

I brought some cake to the party! Can I co-host? I am about to cancel plans because I'm about to get migraine number 4 in a row.

I hope you feel better so you can enjoy sometime w/ DH. Like Laura said, sometimes just snuggling on the couch can be nice.

Feel better! Group Hug

Laura, Cindy and Kat,

Thanks for coming to my party. Kat of course you can co-host. Sorry that you have too!! DH and I are going to snuggle on the couch and watch a quite movie.

But, DH is taking next weekend off and says we are going camping (we have a 30 ft trailer). And the beast is not invited!!!

Oooooh! Pity parties?! Why I'd love to come... am I fashionably late or just a loser who showed up after the party has ended?

Anyhow, I brought cake! Yes Birthday Cake

Jamie, if you're a loser, I'm a loser. Better late than never! I've been having myself a good ol' pity party here today. I am so sick of the mig blues. It's so discouraging. I just got a mig for the third day in a row. It was lurking all day having an identity crisis, "Am I a migraine? Am I just a slight headache? What am I?" But it finally decided it's a mig. So glad it knows, but wish it would tell me sooner!

Dar, hope you had a wonderful time being a couch potato with hubby.

I wanna come too. I've been so blue lately too. Isn't is frustrating?

I went to lunch with a couple friends I hadn't seen in awhile. It was really nice. However, they wanted to go to a museum to see a new exhibit there and I started to get a migraine so I had to go home. I was so bummed. I JUST WANT A FEW NORMAL DAYS! Is that too much to ask?

Let's all sing: PITY, PITY, PITY ME!

I want to come too!!! And I have a new song! When my eldest son was 2 Linda Ronstadt's "Poor, Poor, Pitiful Me" was a bit hit. He really loved to sing it at the top of his lungs. But I think his version fits better. He would sing "Poor, Poor, Pickle Me"!!!!

Has the party extended into the cocktail hour? I think champagne all around would be lovely. Maybe it would crack the prickly scalp I have.

It's Friday, the weekend is here. We deserve to have no pain and to enjoy ourslves with our husbands, boyfriends, partners, children (ok, maybe we'll leave them somewhere else on Friday night Big Grin. It just needs to go away.

Oh, sweeties... smooshy mooshies to all of you. Group Hug I want you to catch a break too! Dar I hope you can enjoy your time with DH. Kat & Hoops I'm sorry you had to cancel your plans!

I seem to be migraine free, but... I have caught this hideous virus/flu thing. I'm crashing the pity party. I brought more cake. Birthday Cake

I've been staying away from my poor sick husband almost to the point of neglect but it didn't do me any good. We made a rule a long time ago that only one of us can be sick at a time, but I guess I'm a rule-breaker. I'm coughing up a storm and my chest hurts. I've had 8 migraine days and 9 virus/flu days this month. The coughing is aggravating my head so I think the migraine is on the way.

So poor me too. Crying Anybody got a tissue?

Well, I am so glad you all were able to attend my pity party!! And don't worry no one's late to the party. The party is still going on strong.

Please help yourself to the bar..IV, maxalts, and frova's will be served. And for Megs, theraflu is on tap.

And for our entertainment...Tracie got Linda Ronstadt's singing "poor, poor, pitiful, me!!" with a chorus of hoopsky's hit, Pity, Pity, Pity, me!!

Don't forget your party favors when you leave, a box of tissues Crying

Seriously, thanks for making me laugh, when I feel like crying. You all are truly the best!!

P.S. LauraSue-I will invite a therapist for your migraine with an idenity crisis LOL.

Hi everyone, is the pity party done? Can I join in?

Yesterday was a horrible day for me, on top of a week of bad days. Can I bring a large chocolate Birthday Cake?

I have found a lot of comfort from reading all of your posts.

So thanks for all of you.
