I just wanted to let everyone know that I have received a few text messages from Alaura over the past few days and she has been having a really rough time in the hospital, but yesterday she did finally experience a tiny bit of pain relief. So at least thats a start! She is still planning to come home on Monday.

I just got another text message this morning from Alaura. She said that she got some better sleep last night and that her pain level is down to a 5 this morning. She is definitely coming home tomorrow. This is great news!!

I just got another text message from Alaura today and she said her doctor is now planning to discharge her tomorrow. She said her pain has still been high, but has been lower off and on. Her doctor has put her on a different MAOI again and he is hopeful that this med will begin working on her pain in a few weeks. It sounds like she is still having a rough time. I will text her back and tell her she has been in all of your thoughts. I know she will really appreciate that!!

Hi all. I got another text message from Alaura this morning and she must still be having a rough time because now she is not expecting to come home until tomorrow. Hopefully this will be a better day for her!
