I think I am going to need some cheese with my whine.

I am exhausted! I have had migraines the last 3 days in a row. I feel like I am going to be sick from the migraine/pain meds. I have about 5 minutes left at work, and then I have to grab a quick shower and go to class till 9:30. I would skip, but I have a benchmark exam I have to take.

I have way too much on my plate right now under the best of circumstances, and being in pain what feels like all the time is not helping me.

I don't know how much longer I can keep this up. I only started depakote a couple weeks ago, so I know it takes time. But I need this to start helping YESTERDAY.

I also found out yesterday I have to work overtime this weekend on this huge work project I am involved in. Funny how I am expected to do 7 day weeks, yet I get crap for having to take a half day off for all the migraines I am getting. Overworking someone with chronic migrianes is a BRILLANT idea. Head Banging

I can't believe it is only Wednesday. Frowner

I've got some wonderful aged very sharp cheddar. Come over and we'll have a glass of whine together!

You've got a lot on your plate right now. Here's hoping the Depakote kicks in soon.

You'd be exhausted working seven day weeks even without migraines. The migraines just add to the exhaustion. I hope the Depakote kicks in soon.

Hey, how about beryy cheesecake with chocolate drizzle?? It reminds me of the Golden Girls and how everytime they were having a bad day they would go for the cheesecake...and everything else sweet in the fridge!!

It can be the pits, but isn't it great to have a place to go talk about it?? I really like a line in a Christian song that says, "Friday's here but Sunday's comin'"

Let's hope for a surprise miracle that your work decides to cut you some slack! In the meantime, I hope you like cheesecake.

thanks for the sweets! I got some in real life last night. I ate a pint of Ben and Jerrys NY Super Fudge Chunk Ice cream. Thank god chocolate isn't one of my triggers!!!

I found out I don't have to work this weekend, which is great.

But here is the punchline to a crummy week.

THE CIELING ABOVE MY SHOWER COLLAPSED LAST NIGHT WHILE I WAS SHOWERING!!! Head Banging

I wasn't hurt, just splattered w/ plaster and muck. But if that was my karmic trade off, I would have much rather worked Saturday!!!
Thumbs Down

Showers are supposed to be relaxing, that is just not right. At least you don't have to work this weekend.

We need some new icons, chococate, cheesecake, ice cream in various formats and really, some whine, I mean wine.

Take care of yourself,

Cindy

Hey!

Just checking in! How is the Depakote going?

The shower ceiling?

The migraine? Did it finally break?

Let us know, ok?

I know you'll probably be busy repairing, or if you are like me, calling someone to repair, or just looking aimlessly up at the shower ceiling thinking somehow it will magically fix itself if I stare at it...anyway, check in and let us know how you are, ok? Big Grin

Thank heavens you're all right. That can't be pleasant, getting coshed in the head by falling ceiling parts. I suppose it's fortunate that you were able to shower it right off, though. Geez!

Enjoy your weekend off, anyhoo. I think that's a good tradeoff for the sky falling. Smiler

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for the support. Big Grin

It's funny everyone mentioned Chicken Little b/c that was all I could think! I just walked around in shock for about an hour going over and over "the sky is falling... the sky is falling...."

I have never been so happy to rent my place instead of owning in my life, b/c thankfully it isn't my problem. The Super is going to start fixing it tomorrow.

In the meantime, in addition to having the weekend off from work, I actually had a weekend off from migraines! God that was good....

Alas, having one right now... Frowner I'd love to enjoy all the cake you guys sent, but I am nauseaus... even my toast isn't sitting well....

Thanks again everyone for all your support! Thanx
