Migraine

Hey everyone -

I just spoke to Jamie - JamieHOST - who is down in Dallas getting treatment from Dr. K to break a bad Migraine cycle. I wanted to start a support thread for her like we've done for others in the past.

Jamie was groggy and still in a lot of pain but said she is slowly feeling a little better every day. Her Mom is staying with her. She's had IV treatments and will be getting botox. They thought at first she would be going home tomorrow (Saturday) but it looks like she'll be staying longer.

So please join in and send hugs and encouragement and whatever else you want to Jamie in hopes she'll feel better really soon!

Okay, all...

Jamie called me a couple of hours ago. Unfortunately, she called when I was on my way out the door to go and get dinner take-out, so I didn't get to jabber for more than about five minutes, but we did touch base.

Jamie's still in Dallas, working on getting things settled down, pain-wise. She's still hurting big time, which was apparent in her voice, but she did say she's feeling a little better.

Her first goal was to hear a friendly, cheerful forum voice, all for comfort factor. I did my best. Her second, more adamant, goal was to make sure I told everyone here how much she has been appreciating all the love and support lately. She wants everyone to know she's grateful and thanks everyone very much for sticking with her through this. I know it's very important to her to pass this along, because she asked me to no less than three times in four or five minutes. (Done deal, Bud!)

So there you all are, folks. That's the latest update as I know it. Keep the good thoughts and wishes coming!
