Well- perhaps there's another way to go about getting it.

I just found a different out of print book that I've been looking for... for many years, actually... at my local thrift store for $0.50.

I actually also picked up the FULL (ie- 20lb) PDR from 2005 for $2.00. It's one really expensive book - would never think about buying it in the stores, but seeing it there... well.. only 2 years old..A bargain- especially for someone like me- VERY med sensitive- and also sensitive to some fillers in generic drugs... so...i'm happy to have it!

Jamie,

I keep forgetting during business hours to try to call the publisher. If you want to give it a shot, I posted their phone number in this thread.

A good idea, Pookie. My local library doesn't have it. Fortunately, I have a copy.

I just realized, if you know anyone who owns the book, no longer wants it, and would like to sell it (for a reasonable price Blinking ). I am here.

And, no, I don't want to open the whole conversation again, I just remembered. Smiler

Hi Jamie. Just wondering if you were ever able to get this book? I have a copy - bought it when it first came out. I'd be happy to loan it to you. I could ship it to you and you could ship it back after you read it. It is usually inexpensive to mail a small book.

OR if anyone else wants to read it, we could pass it along. As long as I eventually get it bak _ i would like to keep it. If you are interested, if you want to, you could send me a private message with your shipping address. I'm not a crazy stalker - I promise - ha ha!!

Hey sherry,
I would love, love, love, to read that book. For some strange reason I am unable to send private messages. Are you on the SharePosts? Btw I would compensate you for your shipping costs.

Hi Eva. I can't seem to send you a private message, either. Not sure why. I have not created any shareposts yet. I can log in there, though. Not sure if that helps. Try it and see. I will get back to you, though. I actually have to climb up in the attic and find the book. My hubby and I are both avid readers and have accumulated so many books, that a couple of years ago, I boxed up a ton of them and put them in the attic.

I think it is crazy that people are selling that book for so much money. Who would actually pay that?? I told my DH about it and he , well - let's sell it - ha ha!!

I will talk to you soon.

Sherry
