I know right! I just started reading my copy and I am amazed at how much info is in there that my dr. never informed me of! I also like having a referance at my fingertips instead of having to google or go to the internet (not that I don't love the internet!, but sometimes it's more of a pain in the butt to get my husband off the computer!! LOL) It's a great read too! Thanks Teri! I am really enjoying it and I have already recommended it to anyone and everyone I know who has had their life inpacted by migraines, be it friends, family or others I know that suffer with migraines. Big Wink

My copy is now being shipped so it should be here in a few days. I have read the book some time ago and loved it (library), but decided I need to have a real copy at home.

And what is more important is that both my mother and sister decided that they want to read it Smiler after all that's been happening with me (ER experinces scared them, they want to be educated and prepared for the next time, I, on the other hand, never want to go back). So I am beyond excited Smiler

That's great that your mother and sister want to understand more about what's going on with you!

I agree... the library copy isn't enough.. I actually have 2 copies in my apartment right - one for me- and the other for a good friend- fellow migraineur. She borrowed my copy and liked it a lot. I'm actually gonna wrap the second copy and give it to my friend tonight at dinner.

Yes, I agree with Jamies gift giving ideas! I think it will be in a lot of stockings this holiday season! I know a lot of fellow migraineurs that I really think it would help them, plus my family as well. Thanks again!!!!!

My friend was SO glad to have the book. her face lit up... She may show up here one day... She's just starting to deal with migraines- and little bits of info at a time will be perfect- as opposed to when she read the book the first time during the time that she borrowed my copy.

I may get another copy for my parents... my mom sure could use a better education than the one that I'm able to give her when I'm in a grumpy mood and dont want to talk about "the migraine thing" Perhaps she'll wind up here too...although I doubt it- she's an AOL user because she thinks any other form of internet access is too hard to do... I've gifted several people with copies, but then, I may be a bit biased. <eg>

Hate to sound like the ignorant one here. I didn't know Teri had A book out. What's the title? I'am new here that's my excuse. Not really I hate excuse's. I would really like to get my hand's on one of those book's though. Sorry Teri. I didn't know you were an author.
I admire that. I've got A book stuck in my head on the subject. Mayby I can get it to fall out of my head one of these day's.

That's ok, Tim. Blinking

Droolie gave you a link. You can also look in the right column of our regular site pages -- where the articles and SharePosts are. There's an Amazon box with the book in it on those pages.

Thanks!

I gifted my GP/NP with a copy of Teri's book, they are who I usually see Between Cleveland and the neuro, and are kept very up-to-date with my health - I call them my co-coordinators. FYI The NP called me and emailed me, thanking me for the book and the info - she got another copy for the office.

They seem to understand better since they've had Teri's book, and have said that they visit the site for references. My neuro is not opposed to the book, but not as accepting. Cleveland had 2 copies - I thought it was great! Yes

I make sure to take it when I MUST go to the ER, it's way better than any pillow or med they can offer..... Thanks Teri. Heart
