I've seen versions of that before, MJ, but right now it hit home again... people in my life used to ask how x, y, or z was going- if this preventative was working. They don't anymore. Yet, when we go out to dinner, it's "we're so glad to see you- is there anything we can do."
And they mean it... But-- I hate to ask. I hate to ask for anything that I could really use- I can run to the store and do groceries, pick up my Rx meds, etc, but I can't clean so much, or do household things. Now I don't want to ask people to do THAT!

Anyhow, thanks for sharing! It made me feel better- not in a good mood this morning!

Ooh. MJ. Thanks for passing this along!

It always helps to read something that I can identify with. I wish everyone I encountered knew about these things. The truth is, I wouldn't have known how to interact with someone like me before I became like this.

The trick for me, is how to I/we share these things with people in a kind way? I know some people that may be offended by reading a list of "thou shalt not" interact with me in this way.
