It's "Super Tuesday", for those of you that are in the voting states, ya should remember to get out and VOTE.

It is my oldest childs' birthday - he is 27 today - and I sent him an IM at 1201, like a good Mom, he is 6 hours from me. He called me right back and told me to read my email. I just laughed. Heart

He has proposed to his lady and sent me a jpg file of the receipt for the marriage license. DH and I knew he was 'twitterpated' but we wasn't sure it was gonna be this soon - looks like they are gonna get married on 02/29/2008. They just have to be different. Flower

I'm very thrilled with his choice, she is in her junior year training to be a chemical engineer and they are both frugal with money. Both smart and know what they want. Cool

Have a good day ya'll, Gilda

Good morning!

Gilda what wonderful news and what a great day to have the wedding. Very unique.

I'm exhausted today; I didn't sleep well again and the weather and my period are playing tag with my brain. So, I will be making a call to Dr. Krusz/Jane for permission to continue either Maxalt or Zomig NS (3rd time in four days..and more before that Hair Raising)

Also on tap is the follow up with the bus drivers boss and then his boss too. I found their driver's manual online; a neighbor and I are calling today Fingers Crossed

Have a great day and get out the vote!!!

Hi all -

Gilda that's great news - congrats to you and your son, and Happy birthday to him, too! Birthday Cake

Laura feel better - good luck with the driver situation and take good care of yourself!

I'm still full from last night's birthday dinner! Roll Eyes I hardly ever overeat anymore - but yum, yum, enjoyed it all! So nice that the kids are old enough to behave and have a good time in a nice restaurant (and so nice that Aunt Virginia & Uncle Ed took us out to one!)

I'm off to vote! I haven't been inspired like this in a long time - and the healthcare candidate guide on this site really helped! Anyway, everybody get out and do it if it's your day, and if you can!

Other than that, quiet day ahead - our company just left for the airport - a lot of writing to do which should be fun. Time I updated my blog - just have to choose what to write about - I read a piece recently about making friends with your migraine disease - rather odd but intriguing - I'm going to go think about that one...

Have a good day everyone, I'll catch you later!

- Megs

As soon as I dropped Nikoli off a school, I went to vote. There weren't many people there, and I was number 107 and the polls were open since six and I got there just before nine. A little disappointing.

I also had to get my driver's license renewed today - it expired today! Hair Raising Here I am, freaking out because our state changed the requirements on what you need to renew. You need your SS card (lost mine years ago, had to apply for a replacement), a birth certificate or passport (passport) and proof of residency (voter's ID). All they asked for was the passport. All the worry over the SS card for nothing. Oh well, now I have it.

There were people there who knew nothing about the new requirements - they were enacted in 2005. Don't people read and keep up to date with stuff?

The weather is just nasty today - once again, it got to 74 yesterday and a strong cold front came through - thunderstorm warnings yesterday and now just a cold rain.

Something got me as my head is huting - it's either the weather or my period.

Dh is making me an excellent dinner for my birthday tonight - a big king crab leg and shrimp scampi alfredo. I can't wait! Big Grin

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

I dropped my mom off at the airport last night for her red-eye back to MA. I got a text from my sister this morning letting me know my mom got home safely. Always good. It was a really great visit with her, just too short. I'll be flying back east in March with DBF so I'll get to see my family again soonish.

My head is actually doing ok today. I fell asleep fairly quickly last night and only woke up once or twice.

WA state's primary isn't until next week (I think?) - I'm still deciding who I'll be voting for.

Gilda, my brother's birthday is on 2/29. He'll be 36 this year (or 9, depending on how you count it Wink).

Laura, good luck both with your head and with the bus driver. Let us know how it goes!

Megs, I'm hoping Fingers Crossed your 9 day streak continues!

Deb, hope your head starts feeling better soon.

Hope everyone enjoys their Tuesday! Heart

Hi all,

Gilda, congratulations to you and your family! And Happy Birthday to your son! Birthday Cake

Laura, you let that bus driver have it! Devil

Megs, you're right! That healthcare candidate guide was really helpful to me, too! I'm glad to hear you had a terrific birthday dinner! And don't worry about the ticker...it's just gonna keep moving forward!!! Thumbs Up

Happy birthday Deb! Birthday Cake Didn't anyone tell you that you're not allowed to have head pain when it's your birthday?!? It's the law!

MJ, I'd really like to have a leap year birthday...Then no one would be able to tell me how immature I am! (What? Me? Acting childish? I'm not 36--I'm only 9!!)

Pouring down rain here today. There are flood warnings all over the place! So where is my SNOW? I've been waiting and waiting!!!

My son and I are doing a little bit of home preschool this morning. Then I think we'll go to McDonald's for lunch. A cheeseburger every now and then doesn't make me a bad Mom, does it??

Thinking of you all...Have a great day!

MJ- Glad to hear your mom got back safely.

Well, I woke up and went to vote this am. First primary I've voted in, so that was cool. I've always voted in the general elections for president, but never a primary.

I was trying not to take my Frova this am b/c of side effects I was having. I did'nt take it last night. But, by 11am, my migriane was screaming. So, I caved. Today is my last Frova day. I'm sure hoping tomorrow I don't get any more menstrually related migraines!

Have a good day all. Vote if you can!

Kelly

Jenny, you can have some of our snow, I'll send it to you. Starting tonight into tomorrow, we're supposed to get 8-12 inches. When it starts falling, I'll tell it to go to PA pretty pretty please. Maybe that will work. Smiler

Got up, checked on the forum, and headed out to our work location. Had a productive day at work. Went to vote. Went to eat pancakes at church. Soon I will go to my voice lesson. After that come bedtime meds and bed. We will be starting work at 5:30 A.M. tomorrow morning.
