It's almost 1 o'clock here, and I'm the first one on the thread. I hope that means that everybody is feeling great and having wonderful Easter celebrations. Ours was last night at my mom's. The kids are getting older (6 and 12) so we were able to sit around after supper and have adult conversation. My local brother and sister and their spouses were there. DS and his GF came late for supper and left early. At least they came.

Woke up at 1:30 with a strange but intense attack. Couldn't find my Imitrex pills in the dark, so I did the injections, along with my Skelaxin and Anaprox. Woke up at 3, so I did the second injection. I'm at about a 3, mostly in the scalp, where a skull cap would be.

Sparky is agitating with DH to do the Wendy's thing. I won't go today -- I just ate breakfast. I thought about going to the grocery store, but I don't think it'll be open. We didn't make it to Mass: I was sleeping off the migraine.

Happy Easter! I'm spending the day in bed.

LauraSue.
(I'm 55, have had severe migraines for over 4 years due to menopause, plus I have fibromyalgia. I take Imitrex plus Anaprox as an abortive and am working with my migraine specialist to find a preventive. I keep a detailed migraine diary and have made significant lifestyle changes to reduce my risk of migraines.)

Happy Easter,
Been to church. Got there late enough were were right by the brass band, literatlly. I didn't know if my prevenative routine would really make it though that, but it was!! I added an extra prayer for that I can tell you. I alway take my camera to church for special services and get pictures. For some reason Piper could not let me take pictures where I wanted to. There are some lovely garden areas that make for great backgrounds and she would not settle down for it. Promise me she will not be 17 forever.

I'm working on the ex's birthday cake. My friend Tracy will probably come over before we all go to dinner to watch NCAA games. She is in love with my TV. That's fine, I would enjoy the company. DBF is at home sleeping and has to go to work by 5 pm, so I won't get to see him today.

Gretchen I had been wondering how Sparky was doing. Glad to hear he is getting friskier with his medications. I hate it when I can't find meds at night. Until recently most of the migraines I got hit at night so I had to make sure I knew where they were. Otherwise it was a disaster.

LauraSue I hope the Easter Bunny makes his way to you today with some warm greetings and some extra hugs. He would be nice and soft to curl up with. Group Hug

I'm going to get some plants watered and laundry going. That's the nice thing about dinner being somewhere else!!

Take care everyone.

Cindy

Hi there - Happy Easter! Greetings from Little Rhody! (That's what they call this tiny state.)

I've been monopolizing my sister's computer for hours - just wrote a post to my blog and now wanted to come say hi to y'all. My first day since Wednesday with no head pain - yay! Happy Dance! We're having a nice Easter visit and it is very relaxing being away. Not to mention being in a tidy house. I get very jealous though! But it's been that way for decades. When we were growing up, I was the neat one and she was the messy one. Wonder what happened!

LauraSue and Gretchen I sure hope you feel better! Cindy I'm glad you weathered that brass band.

I'll try to check in tomorrow. We're going to Old Plimouth Plantation (about 40 minutes form here) so Danny can meet his Mayflower ancestors. Fun!

After church, I grabbed a quick lunch, and then I went to a play at the local reperatory theater. The friend who normally goes with me was sick, so I went alone, which was fine with me. I went alone for years before this friend started going--and we don't even have seats together anyway! We have very different preferences about where to sit.

Now I'm home and enjoying some forum time.

Hi Ladies,

I am making dinner now. We went to brunch at Bill's sister house by the beach. We took Nicole friend from Finland. After brunch we let the girls take a walk on the beach and Bill and I visited my sister and brother who live in the same town. Nicole friend love it. It was the first time she had seen the ocean. So that was pretty special. I will tell you more tomorrow, I got to get back to cooking. Well, sounds like most of you had a great Easter too!! LauraSue and Gretchen-I hope you feel better soon Flower

Happy Easter from snowy St. Louis. Yes, I said snow - we just finished with about the 50th heavy burst of the day. Nothing is accumulating - well not long, anyway.

We did the egg hunt and ate the hard boiled eggs for breakfast - I get the yolks, lucky me, they are filling! Then we went to our inlaws and then my family came here.

Gretchen and LauraSue I hope you're both feeling better. Cindy, the brass band would've done me in!

Hi everyone! I'll take the late night shift here. I'm just stopping in for a few minutes.

DBF found me a solid chocolate bunny yesterday. It's milk chocolate, not dark chocolate, but it smashed up just fine with my hammer! And I grinned while doing it. Big Grin

Tomorrow afternoon I have my follow-up visit with my HA specialist. I spent a few hours tonight filling out my monthly summary pages for my headache diary. I'll also bring my detailed diary with me to this appointment, which I didn't do last time.

Not feeling great tonight, so I'll end this here. Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. Heart
