morning evryone Group Hug

Well my run of bad luck keeps on going! Went to doctor yesterday - I now have Pleurisy! I have been signed off my work for another 2 weeks. That will be six weeks in total i will have been off my work ! This swine flu is terrible! Dpctor says the ear infection then bronchitis and now the pleurisy is all a result of the swine flu most likely! I have to go for a chest dray on Monday, and I now have my third set of antibiotics to take ! Crying

My freind and I were haveing a combined party for our birthday in her house tonight! I wil wtill go along, but obviously wnt be able to drink, or stay that long, as I just feel so unwell!

Ive read the posts from yesterday - hit o all, and hope those who are hurting feel better!

take care

Happy Saturday everyone!

I'm up super early because I went to bed so early. I actually had a pretty decent night's sleep. I only remember waking up twice and I didn't stay up long.

I woke up with a bit of a Migraine but it's low grade so I think the Axert will take care of it and I should be able to move on with my day. We are going to go foodshopping and then maybe the movies. Same as every Saturday, huh?

Eileen-I Binged Paranormal Activity last night and found the clip of the audience watching it...way cool! Then I noticed on the side bar it said, click to find it near you and when I entered in my zip *poof*, there it was in our "cheap" movie theatre! DH and I can't wait to see it!! It looks super scary!!

Gail-Ouch, I'm so sorry for the pleurisy diagnosis. I had to look it up to see what it is and it said it hurts whenever you breath. I hope the antibiotics work quickly. Try and have fun at the party...take it easy, okay?

Take care everyone!

Hello everyone,
I'm up earlier than usual this morning. I'm going through some changes in my migraine meds and my sleep has been different lately. I'm used to feeling drugged all the time on the Topamax, so its nice to be able to feel more alert in the mornings. But it seems like my body is going through an adjustment since I was on the Topamax for about 9 months and I got used to it. The other interesting thing I've noticed since being off the Topamax is that my acid reflux is getting better. The cough I've had from that is improving too. I posted about my med changes in the medications folder.

Gail- That swine flu scares me so much! You sound like you've had a really hard time of it! I really hope you can recover soon. Group Hug

Laura- I will be going food shopping today also. I just hope it doesn't rain. It rained yesterday and its still cloudy this morning.

Good morning.

I have some laundry to do to get ready for the ballgame tomorrow. My heavy hoodie needs a wash and I was trying to decide what sweatshirt to wear and I just thought of my "darn it's cold" good ole standby. It's going to be in the lower 50s tomorrow.

Someone is going to have to help me with laundry - I'm still having trouble with my knee from chasing my dog barefoot on concrete and asphalt. We'll be doing a lot of walking tomorrow.

Gail, I wish I could fly over there and take care of you! How has Rebbekah been with you so sick?

Laura I'm so glad you had a good night's sleep.

Peggy, I hope the new meds help.

Deb- I'm glad you're getting some laundry help. I could use somebody to come deal with my laundry Roll Eyes

I dropped off my motorcycle to get an oil change back on Thursday before all the lovely Zonegran horror. I went to pick it up this morning. Halfway home the sky opened up. Going 35 mph in the rain on a motorcycle gives WHOLE new meaning to drenched to the skin. I had to strip in the garage.

Now that the errand is done and I'm home I can take more skelaxin for the muscle cramps. They're better, but defintely not gone. I've got another 24 hrs or so before the Zonegran is even halfway out of my system. Yuk.

Gail - Sending you hugs Group Hug and get well wishes.

Hey guys,

Just popping in agian really quickly. Boy has it been an interesting couple of days. I was in status again, and after calling into work 2 days in a row, I had to call my doc. He gave me some Inapsine injections to try. Not sure how much its helping yet but I still have a couple doses to take. I made it back to work on friday and then have done nothin but sleep from this new med. My headache is growing today, so I am about to go lay back down.

I hope that you all are enjoying your weekend! And staying as pain free as possible. I will stop back in later when Ican Group Hug to you all
