The week is over! Yay!

I have cheesecakes to make tonight, gutair to practice, and things to buy at Target. Other then that, it's going to be low key.

We have a holiday party tomorrow that we are really looking forward to. My best friends in laws are in from Portland and they are a blast, so they always throw a big party. It should be a good time.

Nut - I read your story from yesterdays tea room. I'm sorry that happend. But I agree with what you said about it being painful, but also in some way, a privilege. I can see how that has changed the day for you. Thank you for sharing your story with us.

Hope everyone is having a good one!

I, for one, am VERY happy that today is Friday. It was only a two-day work week for me, but that was hard enough.

I had an awful migraine last night. My head decided that not only should it feel like I had many hot pokers in the right side, but also I should have *every* migraine symptom I typically have - nausea, dizziness, cold chills/hot flashes, photophobia, phonophobia, sensitive to touch, etc etc. I blame the combination of a long flight on Wednesday and a big weather front coming through today.

I'm feeling slightly better this morning, despite sleeping horribly last night, but my pain is still around a 6 (it was an 8 last night). And I am completely out of time off for the year so I had to drag my butt into work. Grr.

(I'm rather cranky this morning, if you couldn't tell.)

The good news is I see my new HA specialist in 10 days. I just have to hold out until then.

Nut, thank you for sharing your story with us. I can't imagine what that must have been like for you, but I am glad you were able to help your friend's daughter.

MJ -

I'm dancing for you - that's how excited I am that it's only 10 days to go before you see your new specialist!!!!!

Sorry you had such an icky night! I would have called in! LOL (I almost did, yeah and at my bosses advice!) I'm tired too and I only worked 3 days this week, but darn glad it's OVER!!!!

I have a 4 day week next week, we only have off for new years day. Still, better then working 5 days!!!

Ok, I should get some work done!

Hope your 6 is down to a 1 - or even better a 0! by now!!!!

Aww, thanks Eileen - your dancing brought a smile to my face! Big Grin

I am feeling a little better. I took some plain old ibuprofen this morning (which only works about half the time) and that knocked the beastie down to a 4. Skillet Much more tolerable. I'm at my limit for abortives this week so I had to settle for the ibuprofen.

I also have a 4-day week next week, and I don't think anyone from my team will be in on Monday. That's fine with me! Smiler

My day has consisted of migraine day 2. Photophobia city, man. I'm curled back up in bed, having taken the triptan limit for the week. I think I'm back up to a 5, having been all over the board all day, painwise

DH is sick- so we're in great shape in our house...(not)

I bought chinese food for lunch, but I don't want to eat it. In fact, I don't really want to eat much of anything. I know I have to, though. So... I'll find something to eat, and then try and curl up and listen to the streaming radio from bed.

Night, all.

Thanks for all of the support about my New Year's Eve experience.

Today I went to work at my usual time, did some work in the office, and then went out in the field for the afternoon. Everything went pretty smoothly out there. Then home, and onto the forum.

I am really tired tonight. It may come from having had migraines two days in a row. No migraine today, though, at least not so far. And they usually don't start this late.

Yahoo! I have 4 day weekend. Had one last weekend too didn't seem like it though, With the traveling and all. Don't have to do anything this weekend. Marietta's getting my Christmas present's tomorrow. A wireless key board, And A new home theater surround sound set up. So I get to hook that up. Get all tangled up in wire's and stuff. But I like messing with that kind of stuff. Most of all just peace and quiet. Just Marietta and I. I'am tired, And starting to calm down from the stress of Cristmas. Hope you folk's have A good new year's.
