Good morning campers!

I hope everyone is doing well this morning! Everyone who was migraining yesterday - that you are past it. MJ I hope Mom's visit is going well.

We had a nice late birthday evening for Danny yesterday - had to take each kid to a different appointment in opposite directions at the same time - so we didn't get to celebrate together as a family until 8 at night - but he was pleased anyway. He loved the birthday thread - he was so ticked by it, wasn't expecting it at all. I also did a Happy Birthday post on my blog - a public birthday card, why not?

A little tight in the neck today. Got another lunch seminar. I have them scheduled today and the next 2 Thursdays and then I'm cutting them back to every other week - the stress of it takes too much out of me right now.

Didn't do my stretching and relaxation this morning - Adam left his lunch, French homework and medication at home, so off I run to school with them at 8 a.m.... I've got to stretch & do deep breathing before I go lead the seminar or I'll be setting myself up for head pain. Okay, I promise I will!

I'll check in to see how everyone's doing later on - enjoy the day!

- Megs

Mornin yall!

Tee hee Megs I got a chuckle over your typo Big Grin I wouldnta noticed if you hadnt reposted Big Grin Glad DH had a great bday!! Your a nicer mom than me.. Often if they forget their homework, well.. Tough! was your responsibility not mine! Razzer but then I end up bringing it anyway....Im a softie but dont tell them Wink Usually Im called with pe uniforms and such. LOL

Well boys had day off yesterday, and I felt GREAT! first time I didnt have migraine bad! It was only a 1-2 and Totally ignorable! Boys had a great day too, we(older 2 boys and I) worked with Matthew(next to youngest) teaching him how to handle and clean a pocket knife and carving a bar of soap for his Whittling Chip card, as he is about to cross over from Cub scouts to Boy scouts, then made a trip to the library wehre everyone got books. Came home and watched a movie(How to eat Fried Worms)PERFECT boy movie!

Then we all had reading time, and then younger 2 had their piano lessons, older 2 were occupied(one still reading, one talking to girls on phone) Roll Eyes And Momma got a nice relaxing bath!

Today is still a pretty good head day, I have a bit more pressure than yesterday, but still feeling better! I think I am trying to come out of this! AND I think its directly related to my weaning off varapamil!

MJ hope your visit with your mom goes great! And your trip with DBF is awsome! AND that the coastal range passes clear(and not flood!) before ya gotta go! Not sure what you have to go over to get to the OP but I know down here to get to northern oregon coast the passes are awful! Let alone the Cascade passes! WOW more snow than either mt. range has seen in years!

Well have a great day yall! Group Hug

Good afternoon!

Megs-I read your post and was like, oh no!! I made Danny mad but than I saw your follow up post....whew! LOL I'm glad you guys had a chance to celebrate, late and all. Plus, a celebration on your blog, way cool. I admit, I have to give you credit because even though I don't work, I couldn't keep up with a blog!

Tawsha-what a great day with the kids!! Sounds busy too, glad your head behaved as well as your kids did Thumbs Up

My migraine broke around noonish or so. WOW it was a killer. Worse one I had in a long time. For sure a 10 for two days, now just a mere 4/5. I can handle that! Just kicking back and foruming with my buds Big Grin

Well, I'm currently on hour 40-something of this migraine, and relief just ain't coming my way. I'm almost ready to head to the ER to break it- just 'cause the pain spikes between a 3 and about a 6, depending on what I'm doing. I really want to lie down and sleep this off- think it would be possible, but I have two more hours left to work today.

I may leave early and just go sleep.

Wish me luck, y'all.

Hi all!!

Yippee we can finally get in and post!!! (doing happy dance, Laura, feel free to steal it Wink)

Jamie I hope you feel better - go sleep girlie! The work will still be there tomorrow - I promise!!! LOL

Well I had a lovely night last night! With DH having a cold, he decides to sleep almost on top of me, kneeing my kidneys all night. Awesome. And then, because he is sick, he lets his alarm ring, and ring, and ring every five mins. for an hour and a half today. He's lucky he is sick or his butt would be on the couch!!! I am going to again inform him how my rest is very important to my migraine health and if he doesn't cut the bull - he will be sleeping on the couch very soon!

He also decided to bring home a 6 inch stack of chocolate bars last night from work.....I don't know what he is not getting about me being on medication that makes me want to eat, eat, eat, especially junk that I don't want in the house! And then he brings that home. This morning he says "oh but the one is no sugar added" I seriously wanted to slap him! It's like ok, you have nothing wrong with you and have never had to take any type of medication that gives you any type of weird side effects......just thinking about it again makes me want to rip my hair out.

I know when I talk to him about it though he will remember that I said DON'T BRING BAD SWEET JUNK STUFF IN THIS HOUSE!!!!! You know men - if it's not about them - the usually forget it about 2 seconds after you say it to them.

Ok - well now that I got that off my chest!!!!! See how much frustration I build up when I can't get on and talk to my peeps!!!! LOL

Hope you are all having a good day!!! It's almost over for me now! I have some more work to do for the end of the month then I am out of here!!!!

Group Hug Heart to all!!!!

I hope you are all having a great Thursday. I just finished my paperwork and thought I'd share the last of my Irish tea and milk with you.

I'm battling with a tension headache too Megs. TTH is a definite migraine trigger for me, so I'm doing what I can to send it away. I hope you have a handle on yours and your luncheon went well.

Tawsha, it's good to hear that yesterday and today seem to be an improvement for you. I hope it's a long streak ahead.

Jamie, take care of you. I hope you're feeling better soon. Group Hug

Eileen, I hope tonight is a better rest for you!

We are still waiting on news regarding my father's health. Thanks to all for your supportive and positive comments yesterday. All prayers are appreciated. He is a fantastic man, a wonderful mentor, and the first love of my life.

My husband called from work yesterday to ask me out on a date after things settle down. He'll even take care of arranging for the babysitter! Thumbs Up

I think it's time for another cup of tea. I hope you enjoy yours.

Liz

My day started at 6 am with Kath telling me, "Mom, my head hurts, my throat hurts, I'm coughing and I'm dizzy." So I get up to call her in sick and I'm thinking, "hey my head and throat hurt, too." So we've been hanging out all day. I'm making turkey soup, hope that works as well as chicken.

Then Nikoli got off early as it's snowing, and all evening events are cancelled, so he doesn't get to go to science night where he was exhibiting robotic legos. Frowner It will be rescheduled.

Jamie, I hope you're off to wherever now, even if it it the ER. Megs, I hope your seminar doesn't leave you in too bad of shape. Everyone else sounds like their day is a-okay.

Eileen-I already did!! Although my happy dance consists of me shaking my booty and waving my arms spastically because that is the only way I know how to dance. Big Wink

Oh and as for sleeping....I hear ya! I gave up for now and have moved into my daughter's room for the nights when the snoring is loud enough to wake up the neighbors!

I'm tired after a frustrating day at work. There were new receptionists at a couple of places I had to call today, and I had a really hard time getting to talk to the people I needed to talk to.

Now I'm home and on the forum. Yippee!

There's supposed to be a heavy snow tomorrow. I might HAVE to take a vacation day tomorrow, if the road conditions are too terrible. And I feel as though I could really use an extra day at home right now, so I wouldn't mind much.

Hey peeps -

Long busy day but I got a lot of writing done which feels real good. I have a new business buddy and we're supporting each other in getting our projects done. My lunch seminar was not a big deal - pretty small crowd so I sat down and did the presentation as more of a discussion which takes a lot of pressure off of me. Tired but not migraining, which is great.

Nut I hope you get your snow day and enjoy it!

Laura I hope you're feeling a whole lot better.

Deb you and your daughter take care of yourselves!

Liz I hope the news on your Dad is good and you enjoy your date!

Eileen keep fighting the good fight against those sweets!

Jamie I hope you got home and got your sleep!

Tawsha hoping you had another great day.

I'm watching the debates before Super Tuesday - lying down, having some more tea, and saying good night to y'all! See you tomorrow!

- Megs

I hope all of you that have had icky days have been able to rest up and feel much better. I'd have posted earlier, but I got home quite late today. One of those 12+-hour days, after all was said and done, from leaving to scootin' in the front door tonight. I've only got a little bit to forum, and then I'm off to bed in about fifteen minutes. All in all, a good droolie day.
