What's up with my head? Again, I'm back in migraine land.

I haven't had a stretch like this in a year or so...

Oh well, at least I have the tools with which to treat the head pain. I wound up breaking down and buying the frova yesterday at full price. Well, maybe not full price, as I did get it in Costco.

I was working from home for most of the day- now it looks like I'm gonna have to knock that off and rest for a little...

Now I know why my head was going off- we just got a round of t-storms.

Kristin, I'm in the San Francisco area, we are expericing an unusual heat wave for this time of year. Very stange.

LauraSue, glad to hear you have gone 2 days with no migraine.

Jamie I hope you are doing better by now. Glad you're working from home.

Ok, I'm going to try and concentrate....might be a bit of a joke.

Take care everyone and have a good Friday night

Hi--

Will post here to update since I have to work tomorrow 8 to 6 so won't be able to get my forum fix til really late.

The docs at A&M did their magic but it's going to be dicey. They give us only a 45% chance of aborting 1 embryo and retaining the other. The 2 babies are sitting smack against each other, looked like identical twins rather than 2 separately fertilyzed eggs. The supervisor vet said that 1 was about 3 days younger than the other, extremely rare using AI, and it was especially unusual that they would end up together like that, making the procedure really tricky.

If we still have 2 heartbeats Monday, we'll have to abort and try again. So now we wait. If we have 1 heartbeat Monday, then we wait another week and if we still have a heartbeat, we got away with it.

We got home around 6 to find out that Crystal, our very pregnant DIL and son were at the hospital. She's supposed to deliver the baby by C Section Wednesday, but her blood pressure has been acting up, and she's been putting on way too much water gain the last two days. Thought we were heading out for more prenatal excitement. But--POOR CRYSTAL--her labs were ok, so they sent her home!!!! She just wants this over, at this point!!!

I also gathered 8 eggs today. (Seemed appropriate to report somehow).
None of them were green though, the Aracauna chicken took a day off.

Kristin--Actually, believe it or not, I don't have asthma, which is why I've been so aggravated with this whole thing. I'm 59 years old, have never smoked, but did have asthma as a child. Haven't had any problems though since I was about 12, until now. Now, it's been 1 lung problem or another since February. What a pain!

I do still feel better. The neb. treatments are working, I'm not taking the Nadalol that inactivates the albuterol and the Robitussin AC knocks the cough right out and I can have it every 4 hours. All that prednisone keeps the headaches away too!!!

LauraSue.
(I'm 55, have had severe migraines for over 4 years due to menopause, plus I have fibromyalgia. I take Imitrex plus Anaprox as an abortive and am working with my migraine specialist to find a preventive. I keep a detailed migraine diary and have made significant lifestyle changes to reduce my risk of migraines.)

Something has to get this streak to stop....

Oh, Kat,

You sound just like me with 9 out of 11 days migrainey. I totally relate and sympathize, hon. I'm so glad I just got a two day break and I hope you do too, very soon.
