Happy Saturday morning everyone,

It is a beautiful day outside and I plan to be out there to enjoy it as soon as it warms up a bit.

I got up way to early thanks to a barking dog - not one of mine LOL - and I couldn't fall back to sleep. Ick. Oh well, it kept me on my weekday routine at any rate.

I'm happy to say that I finally finished the major work in the dining room and now only have the details like base boards, touch ups and such. I'll be done with all the paint Sunday and Monday will have the furniture back in there. It was nice to have the blinds up again last night. I'm sure the neighbors were thankful too.

For those of you who weren't/aren't feeling well, my heart goes out to you and I hope you feel better soon!

Take care everyone! Smiler

Hi all -

It's a gorgeous Saturday morning here. Rained most of the night but the sun is out now. Our grass is about knee high - first our mower had to go to the shop at the busiest time of year, then we all got sick. I hope the sun can dry the grass enough that we can start on it this afternoon - Danny and I are going to have to take turns and it will take a while to get through this "meadow"!

Adam's still sick - poor guy. Fever not as high this morning, yesterday it was quite high. Other than that, not much going on. I'm going to do some blogging/writing work this weekend. Very glad to be feeling well - so far, so good!

Laura enjoy the day and finishing the painting!

Everybody feel well, 'kay?

- Megs

Hi Laura, Megs, and all of my other forum buds,

Laura, glad to hear the dining room work is coming to an end! Keep at it, little by little--it'll be done before you know it!!

Megs, it started out pretty here this morning, but the wind is picking up and it looks like rain is on its way...Hopefully, it'll stay away from NJ long enough for you to cut the grass!! Fingers Crossed Feel better, Adam!

I spent the morning at the soccer field with my littlest guy. Soon I'll be going back to the soccer field with my older son. I sure hope the rain holds off a bit longer...there's nothing worse than a cool, rainy soccer day!

DH and I may take the kids to check out the toy store later. Grandma gave them a little $$$ last night and they're eager to spend it on something special! Then, maybe we'll go out to dinner together.

Happy thoughts to all of you!! Smiler Have a nice weekend, everyone!

Good morning!

It's a pretty day here, too. Around 70, with a high around 75.

My head didn't hurt yesterday. I didn't even think about my head until about 6:30. WhooHoo!

I went to Sam's yesterday. That's always SO expensive. I had 6 things on my list but ended up with a cart full, all stuff that should have been on the list anyway. Well, a couple of impulse purchases, but not too bad. I filled up my car, too. My PT Cruiser's turbo engine likes Premium gas. Sticker shock, even though the tank was 1/2 full. It's not over $4 here, but durned close. I caught one station at $3.89.

I hope everyone's day is great. Poor Sparky's day started off awfully. He got bathed. I'm waiting for his ears to get mostly dry before we walk.

Laura ~ Glad the dining room is getting spiffier by the day.

Megs ~ We've got perfect weather. Mid-80s for the high today and sun. Just like yesterday. It's supposed to stick around, too. Hope Adam's better soon.

Jenny ~ Good luck to the kids on the soccer, and good luck to you on the weather front.

As for me, I was up way too early this morning. One of those mornings where I cracked open my eye, peeked at the clock, and saw 7:30 instead of the 6:30 that it really was. By the time it was pointed out to me that it was so much earlier, it was pointless to go crawl back in for an hour. So we did our Saturday crossword wayyyy early today.

Good morning. I have been awake for a couple hours but I'm being really lazy. I have been laying in bed in my nightgown, watching TV, and reading useless things on the computer. I love going online and reading about stuff I don't need to know about. I know it's weird.

It's supposed to be really HOT today here in California. So I won't be doing much outside. My niece is graduating from college but the whole family can't go because she only gets so many tickets. With this heat, it is a blessing in disguise. We will meet later for dinner. My husband is off to Korea again, leaving me to deal with his loony family without him. Thumbs Down

Laura, I'm jealous you got your dining room done. I need to paint our family room but it's the prep that keeps me from actually taking it on.

Megs, I hope Adam gets better.

Jenny, hope the weather cooperates. Fingers Crossed

Gretchen, I can relate to your gas shock. It's $3.89 here too. Luckily I drive a Toyota Prius hybrid.

Dragon, hope the rest of your day has better "timing."

Happy Saturday all. Hoops

Good Evening--

Just got home from work. Sounds like most everyone is feeling pretty good today.

I don't think it was such a good day for migraineurs here in Central Texas. I spent the day counseling patients who had migraines. Everybody seemed to have one!

I'm off for a neb treatment and another dose of cough medicine. Time to put the feet up.

No rain here, for once!

I was off down the freeway early in the morning for my monthly volunteer work. Enjoyed it a lot. When I got home, I walked some for exercise, then came inside and took a nap! Naps are quite rare for me. I have to be extremely tired to sleep during the day.

I just took my nighttime meds, and I'm checking on the forum (obviously.)
