Wow, um, where did the weekend go???

Half the time the only way I know it's the weekend is because I am sicker than normal.

Anyway - I am so super tired today. I have not slept well the last few nights. I really need some good sleep.

Today it is the coldest day for us yet this year. They said on the news the temps are more like Thanksgiving Day, not Columbus Day.

Hope some of you get a day off today!

Morning everyone!
I’ve been out of commission again this weekend. Every time I get a respiratory infection and get put on any kind of “cillin”, I get some kind of weird something with my autoimmune system. The Z-Max this time gave me a reaction to latex! By the time I got home Friday, I was in hives from the elastic in my undies and the waist band on my scrubs. By Sat., I was totally miserable, so it was off to urgent care. They gave me a steroid shot and between that, benedryl lotion and benedryl tablets, I’m keeping the itching under control. The rash is better, but still there. I guess I’m just weird.

It was a busy weekend for us, but we got a lot done. My parents are coming in this weekend, so I’m struggling to get the house cleaned. I’ve got a painter there today finishing up the stair case wall and the high stuff. It will be nice to have it done before my parents get here.

Today is dr/bosses b-day so I got him a cake and gift card. I do every year and he seems to appreciate it. If nothing else, it gets him in a good mood! That alone is worth it.

Better run and get back to work. I hope everyone is AWAP today!

Morning All,

I have been MIA last week, sorry got hit pretty hard, one migraine after another. Feeling better, but worn out!! I did get a chance this weekend to spend some time with the family. We went through a corn maize. DH and I raced the kids through it. It was really fun.

If you haven't done it you start by getting questions and then you go to stations within the maize and turn left or right depending if you get the question right, if you get the question wrong you go to a dead end LOL!!! Anyway, the kids won. I think it had something to do with my DD are beautiful and the people handing out the clues were young boys LOL

Other then that, not much going on, busy day today, cleaning and papaerwork.

Eileen-Hope you can catch up on sleep today.

Hello all,

Hope everyone had a smooth weekend. I just slept in and did some yard work. Kind of funny. Once I came out my family came out. Then next door neighbor started her yard work. Then I look up the whole neighborhood was out doing yard work. Someone brought out some hot chocolate. It was great.

It was the really cold that night near 32. Anyhow, I had fun. I had enough enrgery to cook dinner. I took a hot bath and turned in early. Sunday I just hung out with the family and watch some of the football game. Yay! my team won. Boo. my head hurts.lol No really. Guess the the Topamax is working better now pain level wasn't as bad. But still hurt enough to worry my family.

Well got to try to eat something. Not really hungry today. Still have some head pain. I'll stop in later to see how everyone is doing.

Hey guys -

I haven't posted much - dunno - just busy, I guess. We go off to Minnesota Thursday evening to see Rachel for parents weekend and I have too much to do between now and then... as usual. In fact, I am dreading even going over my list. I feel like I'm still trying to catch up from the really bad Migraine I had last Thurs/Friday. I was just thinking today, how hard it is to plan life as if we could get interrupted at any time - I try to plan in extra time in case of Migraine, but when a deadline comes up it's a problem!

Eileen I am so darn cold! Sold a lot of sweaters at the store today! Hope you have a restful evening.

Lynn those allergic reactions sound nasty. Hope that clears up for you. Try not to wear yourself out before Mom & Dad come!

Dar we have a nice corn maze near us too - haven't gone in a few years. Sorry about all your Migraines, but glad you had a good time there.

Dutchess sounds like you started a nice trend in the neighborhood!

Oh we had a totally demented customer in the store today - she threw a pair of pants at the assistant manager - actually hit her in the face with them! She was screaming at me with her finger pointing in my face because the brown jeans are roomier than the blue jeans in the same size - telling me it was "criminal" for me to sell them if they didn't run true to size... Whew. Another minute and I was going to call 911 and let them decide who the "criminal" was... No seriously, there's a point where good customer service ends and self-protection steps in! The assistant manager was just about in tears and I kept telling her, you don't have to let anyone treat you like that! It was exhausting...

So can anyone tell me where the weekend went? LOL they seem to just go faster and faster all the time. I haven't been posting much, things have just been crazy. Today was finally a better day. I still had high headpain, but it wasn't really a migraine. thats good news.

Megs- I agree, it is hard to plan anything when we are so easily interrupted! I hope you can get through your work and enjoy your time with Rachel.

I am hoping for myself that I can go through tomorrow with out a mig too! I will just have to see. But now I am headed to bed, its been a long day. Sweet dreams guys!
