Hey, I feel better. I'm actually hungry this morning.

In a few hours, I will go to church, then to a friend's house for lunch. After that, we are going to a play at the local repertory theater.

Apart from those things, I will try to continue getting plenty of rest, so that I finish kicking the GI ick.

Hi Nut - sounds like a busy Sunday - I'm glad you're feeling better and hope the rest of it moves out for you too.

I'm better than yesterday - still a little head pain especially when I move around. Tummy is better, I think. Fingers Crossed I'm not asking for more pain but it's frustrating to be lying in bed just to keep it from getting worse. I feel like a dweeb to be lying here useless when the pain isn't much. And I think of all the worse migraines I've had and all the worse pain many of you are in. So I get up and do a few things and it hurts more and I lie back down. Sigh.

Not sure what's worse, though, the increased pain when I move around or the total lack of energy I feel. When I saw my PCP I described my energy levels/patterns to him and he said he thinks I'm not all the way recovered from the chronic fatigue. I'm doing another adrenal function test this week. If it ain't one thing, it's another. I'm sorry - maybe this should have gone in the gripes folder!

- Megs

Have a cup of tea and you're in the right room!! I "should" be in the yard cleaning up and making making my plants happy, but I'm getting ready for DBF's birthday dinner, making his cake and cleaning house Head Banging My children are meeting his children for the first time. We've been dating almost 2 years. Almost like parents meeting. One thing I've not needed for migraines is a tranquilizer of any kind and man would I love one tonight!!!!! I don't drink any more either. Where are the vices when you need them. Oh well, I have a good friend who will be there, bless her, she will help keep us all sane.

I hope you are all feeling better as the day progresses. Oh and I get to talk to my son about his study habits. The day just gets better.

My sarcasm and I will go do some laundry now.

Good Morning Everyone,

Nut-Sounds like you have a fun Sunday planned. Enjoy!!

Megs-I am glad to hear you are feeling better than yesterday, but I am sorry to hear that you missed your party last night. I get the whole laying around thing and feeling like a dweeb. I am sitting here watching my DH work on the yard. My migraine is only at a 3 but I feel like if I do to much by tonight it will be much worse and I promised that I would volunteer at Zach school's fundraiser tonight. It can be so frustrating Mad. I hope you feel better soon Group Hug and the PCP can help with the lack of energy.

Cindy-It sounds like you have a big evening planned, so I'll help you out and bake the cake for you Birthday Cake Big Grin. Really, Hope everything goes great and the children get along Fingers Crossed Let us know what happens

As for me, like I said earlier, my migraine is at 3. I am hoping to kick it out of my head so I can go volunteer at Zach's school for Movie night. Okay, loud children, loud movie, and flourscent lights, Am I just asking for it or what? Hair Raising LOL. Other then that, I am struggling trying to find a balance with my vitamins and upping my topa. I don't think I am taking enough postasuim (still getting the tingles). So, I will call the doc next week.

Have a great Sunday,

HeartDar

The cake is out of the oven. My son and I would like to test it. But we know we can't. It looks great though. I have a tradition with my children that they get whatever cake they want baked, homemade. My son at always wants pumpkin pie (October birthday), my daughter is a marble cheesecake girl. My DBF has never been given that option and I am just shocked. I personally think that was grounds for divorce. So I am perfecting German Chocolate cake for him. Year two is going much better than year one went.

Dar good luck this evening. As much fun as the school fund raisers can be, they can be challanging if your not feeling well. What is it with those gym lights anyway. They do weird things, even stranger than regular florscent lights.

I'll have a piece of cake for you all tonight and let you know how it comes out!!

Late again. I hope everyone's afternoon is going well.

I actually went to Mass this morning without DH. One of my New Years things is to go to church. We really got out of the habit when DS graduated from high school and stopped having youth group.

It's 65 and sunny today. DH and his fishing buddy have gone to a new lake in the National Forest about 90 minutes from here. It's the first time he's gotten the boat out this year. He took me down to the lake a couple of weeks ago, and it's beautiful.

Sparky and I drove through Wendys and ate at one of the parks on the Reservoir. He ate his french fries and drank his ice water. Wendy's DIDN'T GIVE ME A FORK, so I ate the chicken and mandarin oranges from my salad. I'll have the lettuce for a snack.

I'm wearing my SIZE 16 jeans! AND, my shirt is tucked in. For the first time in public for 8 or 10 years.

My 3 is trying to morph into a 5. I took my Skelaxin. I'll wait a little longer to see if it kicks in.

Have a great evening!

Well grr, I overslept *again* this morning. Didn't get up until 10:15, and the beastie definitely had his claws out when I got up. Skillet I'm doing ok right now though, now that I've been up for a little while. DBF and I have errands to run today, but I'm not sure how my head is going to hold up.

Nut, glad to hear you're feeling better. Hope you can enjoy your day!

Megs, glad to hear you're also feeling better! I know what you mean about laying around when you're not in much pain - that's how I feel today. My pain is only around a 4 but I'm afraid it will get worse if I try to do too much today.

Cindy, good luck tonight! Your cake sounds delicious. In my family, our tradition has always been to buy an ice cream cake for birthdays. Most of us don't like regular cake, but who can turn down ice cream cake? Smiler

Dar, I'm hoping you can nip the beastie in the bud so you can enjoy your night.

Gretchen, great to hear you're in your size 16 jeans! Good for you!

Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday! Heart

Yep. The Chinese food is simply delightful. I easily have enough to take for lunch tomorrow, and probably the next day, too. The fortune cookies were rather interesting, too. Rather than the typical vanilla flavor, they had a distinct orange flavor. They were tasty.

As for today, there was church, and then lunch out at Fuddrucker's. I rather like their new sliders. They are adorably cute, and just the right size.

In a little bit, we'll be heading over to my nephew's, for a 25th Anniversary open house kind of party for my sister and brother-in-law.

Hi all!

Coming in a little later, well a lot later then usual today....it's the upping of the amitriptyline I think.

I upped it on Friday night so I'm back to feeling oh so Zzzz'z
Which is good after the week I had!

Today is the first day (so far Fingers Crossed) in I think a week and 2 days that I have not had a migraine. So I have been trying to enjoy it.

Played some video games with DH, did some extra cleaning at the pound this morning (but had another volunteer use the clearner that's a trigger for me - good thinkin right!) So I'm just been hangin low this weekend.

Tired, sleepy, wanting to just chill, so that's what we did.

Hope you all had a good one!!!!

I woke up late today, and DH is still sleeping. We're hoping that the power stays on- the winds are Horrible, and people across town have lost power according to the TeeVee!

I'm hungry, and I want pizza, but still not sure I can chew it. I just got past eating Lasagna- the implant area is still sore, and abuts my cheek- so eating is hard. I've eaten more chocolate pudding in the past week than I care to admit.

I put my first thing for sale on ebay yesterday night. It was challenging- and there's a definite learning curve, I suspect. Oh well. I've got lots of stuff I don't need anymore and could use a better home than the bottom of my closet.

And now I'm forumming. Gonna watch some TV and then go to bed at a decent hour tonight

I've been busy shopping and cleaning for Nikoli's birthday, but I had to stop in the tea room to read what everyone's been doing today.

We went to an earlier service for church and then dh and Kath went one way and Nikoli and I went the other. I was shopping for his birthday so his input was welcome. I had him turn around when I was picking out his card.

Then I've been folding laudry and cleaning. Our semi new dog sheds bad. Roll Eyes

I'll be cooking tomorrow, but there's a chance no one will be here. We have an ice storm coming, starting tomorrow afternoon. We might be having Nikoli's birthday dinner by ourselves.

Everyone cross their fingers for no ice, or, if we get ice, no power outages. Fingers Crossed

I woke up at 7 to feed the dogs but went back to sleep. Woke up again at 10 with a killer migraine. So I took some relpax and laid back down.

By noon it was better. I ate some cherrios and took a shower but haven't done much because I'm so tired now.

I went up to Petco for dog food and Walgreens for a few little things around 2.

Came back and fell asleep until 5. Ugh. I feel better though.

I woke up and everyone is gone. (my husband is out of town and my sons are 23 and 25) The house is quiet which is nice.

I had some pizza and this has been a lazy day to say the least.
