Megs- woohoo! Happy dance for no pain in your head!
I'm still chillin' in my bed with my dog. I'm waiting to see if my head is going to cooperate. I'm going to get up and do some of my pilates video. It is a lot less strenuous on my head than the treadmill. Then I'll watch The View. I'm addicted. And do some reading... I got a book in the mail yesterday. I'm excited to start it. Morning everyone,
Tawsha-I love Earl Grey. I like when the tea bag sits in the water for a long time and then I put way to much sugar in it. I drink it when I have a sore throat. Yummy! Megan-what a great way to start your weekend! I love the smell and feel of fresh sheets too. Glad you are 0 My flight yesterday was actually a good one. My head is doing just fine and when my ears popped it felt good. Strange but cool! DH was there to meet me with big hugs and kisses and when I got home the kids were all over me. My daughther made a welcome home "card". Cute!! I made my oldest DS' day by bringing home some Dallas Cowboys stuff and he was thrilled. On tap for me today is #1 a Coke Classic. Then, off to run errands and catch up on what I missed around the homefront while I was away. PS: Thanks for all the well wishes yesterday! I prayed upon each take off and landing. While the airline I took has fantastic personnel, they have way to many stops LOL PSS: Droolie-you almost owed me a new keyboard. I was reading your post about the adorable children in the waiting room yesterday and when you called them "larva" I almost spit my hot chocolate everywhere! Thanks for the giggle Laura Forum Moderator ***You're welcome to enter your birthday, etc in the Celebrate folder so we can party with you!! =) *** |

Good morning everyone
My first pain free morning in almost a month. Since I'm off on Fridays, I drove Mikayla (my daughter) to school, came home and climbed back in to bed...just eager to actually enjoy being in bed and being able to relax I'm really enjoying cruising around the site and learning a bit about everyone. Can't wait to call my PCP later and let him know that my pain is at a 0...well...there is that ingrown toenail...LOL. My PCP has been so wonderful....calling me at home in the evenings to check on me and leaving his pager on 24-7 in case the pain or vertigo got to be too much. Anyway - everyone - enjoy your day J. |

It sounds like everyone's day is getting off to a good start! I had to take Sparky back to the vet this morning. He's got a bladder infection [didn't know dogs got them, especially little old men dogs]. He's been on antibiotics for a week and was doing better, but yesterday he started shivering again, and he woke up last night to go outside. Which means I had to take him out. Luckily, I can get back to sleep.
Walked for a little over an hour. Time for new shoes -- I'm starting to get shinsplints. It's in the 40s, and my scalp is tingling instead of hurting. This morning, I was dreaming about how peaceful everything was. Then the alarm clock went off! Talk about being startled! It looks like there's another judge involved in our bribery scandal. He's well respected and might not be involved. But our judges are elected, and I expect that even being mentioned in this mess means the end of his judicial career. There's another front-page story, but I haven't read the paper yet. Gretchen in Mississippi |

Well, after pilates and the view I broke down and called my specialist's calling hours. This migraine has been going on almost 3 days now.
I'm glad I did because I found out he is going to be out all week next week! He prescribed methergine, an oral ergotamine, so I'm hoping it kicks this migrianes butt! Keep us posted on your migraine, Kelly. You know not to let it go on too long.
A frustrating day at work, waiting much of the day for information to come from another place. First they tried to email it, but it bounced back to them. Then they faxed. The last piece of info took a while to get because the person sending it wasn't really sure what she was looking for! But it finally came, and I was able to complete my priority task for the day. Then it was time to come home and get on the forum. |

We had a fun and warm fuzzy day at school today. We've got a student with Chiari malformation, and instead of having our usual kinda monthly hat day, where kids can wear hats to class if they pay a buck, we had Ties an Tie-Dye for Terra day as a fund-raiser specifically to help her. Almost the whole staff and student body took part and kicked in a buck or more. One student even donated $150 of her Christmas money. Together we took in about $1450. Pretty snazzy for middle school kids, I think. The show of support alone was just phenomenal. I'm going to head up and catch the news in twenty minutes, to see the story on it. The Gazette was there, too, so there will probably be a story or a pic and blurb tomorrow, too.

I'm a little late to the tea room today, but I thought I'd give a quick recap.
My day was mostly uneventful. Work thankfully went by very quickly. I stopped by Walgreens after work (I like the pharmacy but I HATE how many fluorescent lights they have) and ran into a mob scene. I couldn't believe how many people were there. I had to wait in line for 20 minutes before I could pick up my Frova. Stopped by Michael's after that to pick up some more knitting needles. I'm starting a scarf this weekend as a belated Christmas present to one of my friends. DBF and I have plans to go to Ikea this weekend, but I'll have to see how that goes. That store always gives my head trouble. Hope everyone had a good day. -MJ my blog: http://rhymeswithmigraine.blogspot.com/ Why do I capitalize Migraine?
