Hi all -

I just remembered to change the clocks - how cool for it suddenly be an hour earlier than I thought! I had a nice long sleep and still get more of a day than I expected. We had fewer trick or treaters than usual last night - it was raining & windy and just plain unpleasant. Adam was very disappointed because his friends were more into hanging out than trick or treating. He finally gave up on them and came home to get into his costume at 8 (curfew is 9), went out again and came home soaked and freezing about 20 minutes later. Since we had lots of left-over candy, we made up for what he didn't get out!

Gail - yikes on having to replace the bed! We broke a bed once... that is a big expense.

I have work to do today - legal work again. Really don't want to do it, but it has to be done.

See y'all later.

- Megs

Good afternoon!

We actually remembered to turn back our clocks last night! Well, the bedroom ones at least.

Another day of fighting off pain today. It's not that bad now, so maybe I can do without meds today. I really hope so.

DH and I are going to a friends house for the world series tonight. Should be fun.

Heating up sauce and pasta I made last night in the crock pot for lunch! YUM!

Hi everyone,

Gail, EEK on buying the new bed. I hate unexpected expenses!!

Megs, what a crummy night for trick-or-treat! I'd gladly send Adam some of our candy. We had a nice night for it on Friday and the kids came home with 3 huge bags of it. I know they'll never be able to eat it all--I certainly won't let them!

Eileen, I'm sorry your head is hurting again! But I'm glad to hear your pain is a little lower. You've had a rotten run and you certainly need some lower pain time!! Have a great time at your friends' place tonite!

My kids had 2 Halloween parties yesterday. The first was at their karate class--short but they had fun. The second was for Cub Scouts. Lots of crafts, cool costumes, and good food for the kids. Also, they had a haunted hike around the lake at the park. Spooky, but not scary (thank goodness--DS6 would have run screaming out of there if it had been scary).

My head is hurting like crazy today. I've had a few lousy head days in a row and I'm a little discouraged. Today, I'm really dragging and hurting quite a bit. Throwing up a lot, too. I wish they'd find a cure for this stupid disease...

Have a nice Sunday everyone. Enjoy your day!

Hello Everyone-
I leave tomorrow for Mayo Clinic to get a second opinion on whether I should have a VP shunt inserted for my IIH. Or if they even think I HAVE it. I was there about 5 years ago and they doubted the diagnosis. I am not having brain surgery if they still doubt it!

I have been lucky of late and only had 3 headaches in the past couple of weeks, but they usually drop off in the fall (YAY!)

Gail- I gave up on beds for my daughter long ago. She is 30 and sleeps on a mattress and box spring on the floor! And she likes it better that way! Says it is better for her back.

Eileen- Sorry you are still in pain. I hope you have fun tonight and feel better soon!

Jenny- hope those migraines give you a break and soon!

Meg- we had a decent day for trick or treating...sunny but cold. Still we hardly got any kids. For some reason they cross the street right before our house! Gives me a complex LOL!

Be blessed everyone!
