Good Morning,

Well in reading the board the morning it's been an eventful night. I hope Sunday finds everyone getting their day of rest we all so richly deserve!!

I'm still in Long Beach. DD races at 10. I do not want to get out of bed. I feel fine, just tired. It's been a nice weekend, but I'm tired of moving and doing. Anyway, we'll watch her races this morning and head back home by noon.

I truly hope everyone is doing well or better today. It seem like we've been on not our best streak on we're due for a change Yes. No time like the present to start.

Have a great day everyone.

Cindy

Good Morning All--

I'm still having shoulder problems today. So I'm now feeling aftereffects of pain medication (I woke up in absolute misery around 7am) and can't spell. Hopefully I'll catch most of my errors.

laura Sue---I'm so glad the play was as good as promised! I sure wish DH and I hadn't blown getting tickets to see it in London.

Since none of us were feeling well enough to go to church this morning, I think I may spend the morning in bed with oxygen and a book. I've been fighting this small headache the last 3 days. So far it's never gone to a 3, which means I don't treat with more than Excedrin. But you never know when it will decide to shoot up to the real thing!

We really enjoyed our grandson fix last night. Our daughter-in-law is 5 weeks from her due date with our granddaughter. Poor thing, she can hardly move!!! The baby is already 5 pounds and has dropped into the correct position, so she is feeling really awkward and can't bend anywhere.

Hope that today finds more of us without major headache pain.
And I hope the snow stays away too!

Good morning. I woke up with a #6 headache this morning. I had a rough night, sleepwise.

I occasionally have problems with my tailbone. I fractured it with the birth of my son 24 years ago. It acts like a charlie horse and really hurts. It comes on out of nowhere and then goes away, like a charlie horse. Well, it flared up around 2 AM. By about 3 AM it was gone, but the soreness is still there. I wish I knew what caused it but it's done it for years. I get about 2 or 3 attacks a year. It's really weird.

My daughter and her husband are coming over to see the new puppy today. They live about 30 minutes away but with Southern California traffic (especially on a Sunday) it can take them up to 2 hours to get here. She wants to see the puppy before she gets too big. We'll probably do a late lunch or early dinner, depending what time they get here.

The fish tank looks so much better this morning. I took out about a third of the water, and bought a better rock vacuum. I will take out another third of the water today and vacuum some of the rocks and I think we may have gotten the bacteria thing under control. I will test the ph, alkaline, and ammonia content to make sure but the fish are acting normal and it looks good, so I'm happy. Yea for me!

I hope everyone has a great day, with minimal or no pain.

Good morning!

Cindy, it's always so funny when you start the day because you're three hours behind us here on the East Coast. Makes us East Coast gals look pretty lazy!! Glad to hear things are going well, hope you get home safe and sound and pain free.

Tracie, sorry to hear your shoulder's hurting again. That's just not fair, is it? Hope your headache stays at a 3 or goes away altogether! Sounds like a good visit with grandson last night, and hope the granddaughter arrives save and sound and SOON, for mom's sake.

Hoops, we posted at the same time! I fractured my tailbone years ago too! I've never noticed any ill effects from it and am sorry to hear about yours. Good news about the fish tank, good for you. And have fun with the puppy visit!

It's turned cold again here. But nowhere to go today so that's okay. I'm staying in bed today to see if I can avoid a recurrence of yesterday's beast. I have to update my mig diary, catch up on the newspaper, call my mom, read my book and watch a little more of the John Adams series.

Have a peaceful pain-free Sunday, everyone! (Yay, my ticker hit 2 months!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Hi gang -

It's a chilly gray day here but I got out for a nice walk with my visiting friend and our dogs anyway and feel the better for it. We're having a nice visit. They are very casual relaxed people and of course since they lived here they have lots of folks to catch-up with in town so they are in & out and don't expect to be entertained all the time. And they just pitch in & help so dishes and meals are just getting done, way more easily than when it's just us. Thumbs Up

Their son is Adam's best friend for ever so it's been reunion time. We had another 2 boys sleeping over last night, so 4 in total - playroom floor all covered with air mattresses and sleeping bags. They were very quiet! Nice boys. And our tiles have "cured" so we could start using our bathroom again this morning. Cool

All good - having a nice weekend. My slightly sore head is the same as yesterday - felt a little migrainey at a few moments - when I was tired, etc. And when I got stuck on the phone with someone who drives me nuts... i'm going to share more about that in the off-topic folder.

LauraSue I agree with you, Cindy sets a tough standard for us. I'd have to get up at 4 am Hair Raising to beat that Calif girl to the forum, and that's not going to happen! Cindy keep enjoying the weekend and then rest up! LauraSue enjoy your quiet day, and congrats on the 2 months! Yes

Hoops I hope your pore little tail feels better. Fingers Crossed I never broke mine but have somehow knocked it out of alignment a few times and that has been awfully painful. And Tracie Good Luck with the shoulder. Take it easy and keep on recovering.

I'll catch you all later. I'm going to post a kind of off topic gripe now.

You guys on the east coast got our chilly and gray from yesterday. Today is gorgeous!

Not much going on - went to church and then Kath and I went to Target to get her and Nikoli some clothes. $80. Hair Raising Why do those darn kids have to grow, or in Kath's case, always need new tshirts.

I'm attempting to get laundry done. I feel lazy and may just make sandwiches for dinner.

My good news: no nausea today from my new citalopram. I do feel kind of "wiped out" and sedated. I think it's positive that the nausea went away so quickly. Maybe the sedated feeling will go away soon, too.

I have a lot I need to get done, but I'm afraid I'm too sedated to do most of it. . . .

Hey everyone. I'm a little late getting here today. DBF and I didn't get out of bed until almost 11, but we had a bit of an eventful evening last night - I won't repost the full story here, but you can read it all in the Support folder. It seems like I've developed some new migraine symptoms. Everything turned out ok though. I'll be making some phone calls to my doctors first thing tomorrow morning.

I'm taking it easy today to rest up for the week, though I may have to play the medical card this week at work. I upped the Topamax the end of last week, too, so I'll probably be noticing some side effects from that soon as well. My pain level is ok so far today, which is good.

Can't reply to all of you today, but I'm thinking of you guys. I'm going to poke around the rest of the forum for a bit, and then probably pull out my knitting. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Heart
