Good morning everyone!
It's been a full day already this morning! I had to get up earlier than usual(4AM) to get everything done and have DS at school at 6:45. He has a field trip and they are leaving at 7:00, so I've been running like nuts-what else is new hu? I didn't even have time to curl my hair this morning-they are getting me with what they see today.

Work is going REALLY good. My new girl is working out really well. She actually LOOKS for things to do and can follow instructions AND can alphabetize! I'm hoping by Thanksgiving I'll be back to normal work days with normal afternoons off again-no more 60 hr weeks.

My itchy rash is better. It's still there, but is fading and not itching, so I'm thrilled. I don't EVER want that again. I can so sympathize with kids with chicken pox now. I'll be glad when I'm not spotted any more.

Eileen-I hope you've been able to get some rest. We're getting cooler than usual weather down here too. Guess it will be an early fall!

Dar-the corn maze sounds like a blast! We don't have anything like that around here, but I sure wish we did!

Dutchess-sounds like a neighborhood yard/block party! What fun. I hope you're head gets better soon.

Meg-What a nut case in the store! Geeze! I would have been calling the police if it had gone on much longer too. Good luck getting ready for you trip. I hope you are migmon free and can enjoy some time with Rach.

Alura-If you figure out where the weekends go, please let me know. Mine seem to disappear too! Hope your head pain stays away!

The painter is due to be back today and finish up. The part he got done yesterday looks so nice. I'm glad it will be done before my parents get here this weekend. I'm NOT looking forward to that. I'll be worn out from waiting on them-and it's my b-day too! NOT how I wanted to spend it!

Gotta run and get DS moving. I hope everyone has a super day!
Lynn

Hi everyone,

I'm waiting for DS9 to finish his breakfast so we can head off for school. DS6 is staying home today. He was sent home yesterday AM for throwing up in the boy's bathroom. Yuk. I just hate the throw-ups. Frowner He's been sick with a really nasty cold for quite a while. Doc finally gave him some antibiotics after a couple of weeks of stuffy nose and coughing all night. Hopefully, he'll start to feel better soon.

I am starting to come out of a long, painful migraine cycle (I think-- Fingers Crossed). Don't wanna speak too soon, but my head is at a lower pain level this morning. I sure hope it continues to get better each day.

Lynn, I'm so glad to hear that your new employee is doing such a great job! It'll be nice for you to have a little less stress in your life!

DH has been working a lot and I haven't been feeling my best. Sometimes I feel like we run in two different directions, but eventually we both end up back in the same spot. I guess that's what marriage is all about, huh? I'm a little down about it today, but I'll pick myself back up.

Wishing you all a happy, pain-free day!

geez! Y'all are up and busy!

I sorta slept in. Missed the recycling truck. Thought that, since yesterday was a holiday, he (one driver, and he's a nice guy) wouldn't come until tomorrow. OOPS! Will have to take stuff to the drop off.

Sallie is on her last day of Fall Break. Lots to do, mostly laundry.

My unemployment check(s) finally started coming. One big check to cover first 4 or 5 weeks! Haven't deposited it yet. Am waiting to see what bills are most urgent.

Life is a lot rosier today than last week.

Went 2 whole weeks w/o migraine!

Sure am glad y'all are "here" for me. Am glad to be "here" for y'all.

Hoping all y'all are AWAP,
Rebecca, The Island Mama

Oh, gosh, what a way to start the day. I was awake until 5 am! I don't know what was going on. I woke dh at 4 am and said, you have to take Nikoli to school. I'm glad I have that option most of the time.

I slept till 9:30. I like sleeping in, and today was a good day for it (cloudy, I like cloudy) but I don't want to sleep the day away. The kids also have an early dismissal, Kath will be home by 12:30.

Lynn, I'm glad your new worker is working out.

Jenny, glad you're feeling beter.

Rebecca, Thumbs Up on the migraine-free streak.

Morning, all. No work today, so DF and I are at home. I finally started the Celexa last night so I'm feeling a bit weird from the side effects. Sigh. Nothing intolerable though, at least not yet. We'll see how it goes. Fingers Crossed

The weather is unsettled today and so is my head. I have absolutely nothing on the agenda today, and my body definitely needs the rest.

Not much else going on here, really, just trying to cope. Hope all are AWAP. Heart

Good day all. I hope it is good for you. It is very bright and somewhat windy out, the sort of crisp fall day one dreams of. We went out yesterday and bought our pumpkins- one of them is about 180 pounds. Smaller than usual but we are getting older and it is harder to move move them!

My hormone migraine triggered a a cycled so here I am 3 days in again. Sigh. I am sadly getting used to this.

I everyone is awap. I am tired and migrainy with lots to do so I am not going to speak to you each individually. Hooray for those who feel good and for those who don't....I pray you feel relief sson!

Be blessed!

It's Tuesday... which means back to job #1. Trying to catch up on everything I wasn't here to do on Friday. Not fun.

Got to sleep in a little yesterday. Had PT at 10. Which was crummy as usual. I hate spending all that money on something that isn't working Head Banging Finally bought a new car yesterday. Big Grin Not brand new, but it's still a 2009, even though it has some miles on it. But I got it for a pretty decent deal. By the time I left the dealership I had one whopper of a migraine though. Took a ride on the sumatriptan train and it helped enough for me to get some sleep. My headache's not completely gone, but at least I woke up better than I was last night. I can't seem to get lower than a 4 the past couple of months anyway. It's starting to escalate again. Not sure how much longer I'm going to last. But I have a meeting at 3:30 that will probably last an hour so maybe I'll head home after that.

Dreading going home either way... It's not like I have any peace and quiet or privacy at home. It's really crimping our love life too. We had issues last month because I'm having problems with my birth control and have had a lot of break through bleeding. And now that DBF's parents are here we're really limited on opportunity. The sexual frustration definitely isn't helping my mood. Anyway...

Lynn - glad your rash is better. So lousy that it made your weekend kind of crummy. Glad your newbie is working out well Smiler

Jenny - I'm glad you're starting to feel better. I'm a little jealous Wink I hope you stay better.

Rebecca - glad you got to sleep in this morning. 2 weeks!? That's wondeful!

Deb - sorry you're still having trouble sleeping Frowner

MJ - glad you're getting a day to rest.

Dawn - feel better.

Ok, back to work.

Hey again guys,

Well I didn't get so lucky today. The monster is back. I have been treating it with my norflex and toradol inj. which has it some what under control, I guess. But at least it was a good day in the classroom. I really had fun with the kids today. Got so many hugs and kisses lol. I am going to rest a little before I have my therapy appointment tonight. That is actually going well too. But anyway, just wanted to stop in really quick. I hope that you all are having a good week and are managing to stay as pain free as possible. Flower I will check back in later.
