TGIF EVERYONE!!

Haven't been around much this week. I'm still wheezing and coughing pretty bad, but it's getting better.

My new lady started on Wed. and is doing GREAT! She's been so much help already. Even our drug reps. have commented that I'm at least smiling now and look much happier. I think things are going to work out really well.

Gotta go-I'm already at work and need to get it in gear. I hope everyone has a super weekend!
Lynn

Hello!

Either its a super slow day here today or my internet is worse off than I thought! We were having issues with slow connections this morning. It may be fixed now.

I got some sad news today. My OB/GYN that I really liked passed away yesterday of cancer. I feel so bad. He was very young, I don't even think he was 40 yet. He was so nice and always put you at ease. He was also quite easy on the eyes. Big Grin I know he has some kids too and I don't think they are that old. I just feel so sad about it all.

My head is banging today. It's overcast and raining on and off here, so that explains that.

Work is busy today. I can't believe it is already 1:30! I need to go have lunch!

I really wanted to go see Paranormal Activity tonight but DH refuses to go to a theater. He can be a real princess when he wants to be. He can go with his friend but I ask and it's a big ordeal. I have not been to the movies since the Dark Knight I don't think. And, seeing as it's a really scary movie, I really don't want to go by myself. I asked my coworker if he wanted to go with me. Maybe that will work sometime this week.

Ok, well I hope you are all enjoying your day and that is why you are not on here! Big Grin

I am miserable. Once again I have ended up with side effects nobody's ever heard of for a new med. The Zonegran has given me horrible muscle cramps in places I didn't even realize could cramp. And if I try to do chores for more than 5 minutes all my major muscles groups start shaking. And the menstrual migraine is creeping up on me. This is going to be another dead-loss weekend. Frowner

Oh Amy!

I'm so sorry you are having such a hard time! I feel you pain about feeling gross on the weekends. I tend to push myself so hard during the week, that by the time the weekend is here, I get slammed and feel gross the entire time.

I hope you are feeling better soon my friend! I'm sure you've already let your doctor know, right? If not, please call them and make them aware of your side effects.

We are here for you! Group Hug Heart Group Hug

Wow! It really is quiet in here today. I hope that means everyone is getting a jump start on their weekends.

I got some great news to share, I got the part time job. Nothing stressful, it's simple data entry but you know how these things go, it starts out as one thing and ends another. My boss seems super cool too! This will help make ends meet, I'm so relieved!

On the sad side, it's my mom's birthday and I called the nursing home to sing her Happy Birthday like I do every year but she's so incoherent today that she wouldn't even speak to me. So, I had the nurse put the phone to her ear and I sang it anyway. Demenitia (sp) stinks! I hung up the phone and just cried. I miss her being around the corner from me.

Lynn-Yea on the new girl! I hope that's what my boss says next week LOL

Eileen-I'm soooo sorry about your OB, that is so sad, to pass away at such a young age. I hope your head gets better too.

Amy-Ugh, I was really hoping the Zonegran wouldn't cause any side effects for you. Feel better!

Hey I'm still here... Hair Raising wow Amy I hate to hear that. I've been there and I feel you woman. Hang in there.

Eileen- sorry to hear about your OB doctor. Sounds like you've know them a long time. Take care of you too. Sorry behind on news.

Laura- Demenitia does sink! I work in nursing homes for 5 years. I saw a lot of people come and go. It doesn't sink any less for either side. I understand. But I do know she may not been able to say anything she did hear you. I've been on the other end of phone calls like that. You should see the light in there eyes that they were not forgoten. Inside your mother is still there. Heart Group Hug

Hi guys -

I had a bad Migraine yesterday - pain & nausea didn't really break until about 4 am with 2nd dose of oxycodone & reglan. Today very seriously washed out, weak & shaky, dizzy, trouble concentrating. Heavy postdrome. Not much to say, it feels like a couple of wasted days. I did watch the Office wedding last night but my head hurt so much I couldn't follow it too well.

I've managed to get a little work done today and need to do a little more this evening, getting ready for a mediation tomorrow. I have clients in the morning and then work at the store in the afternoon - I work at the store 4 days in a row, through Tuesday. Then off Weds & Thurs, and Thursday evening we fly out to see Rachel.

Dutchess lemon & honey tea is the thing with a cough in my family too!

Lynn I'm glad you got your help!

Laura congrats on the pt job - hope that works out well. Sorry about the upset talking to Mom - that's always hard.

Amy so sorry about the icky side effects!

Eileen sorry about your GYN - it's sad! I had a GYN who died of cancer too - weird. he was really sweet, and I usually would only go to women, but this guy came so highly recommended, so I went to him, loved him, then he died and his partner, a woman, took over and I couldn't stand her... go figure.

I heard from Jamie in Dallas today - she's a bit better but not up to posting - I started a support thread for her if you didn't see it yet.

Good evening.

Not much to post, and I've read everyone's posts and am thinking of you all.

I came to post one thing: If the Cardinals win their baseball game tomorrow, there will be a fourth game on Sunday and WE HAVE TICKETS TO THE PLAYOFF GAME ON SUNDAY!

Fingers Crossed for a win tomorrow!

I haven't been posting much. Haven't really just felt up to it. i now have the respiratory bug that DD lovingly decided to pass on. My customers can't understand the nasally voice on the other end of the phone. My migraine did finally slip down to a 6 but my sinuses have gotten nasty and today I got my period so welcome to the hormone blues. Agh!

We have a new account at work as of today and I was made supervisor/lead contact even though no one ever trained me on it! Thank heaven we have a script to get a general idea of what to do! We are acting as an IT help desk contact group on top of our customer sevice and order taking accounts. Sheesh! With Christmas coming that should get totally crazy!

It has been so HOT here at work! We open all the doors and windows and turn on the fan....but it is still over 80 degrees. Doesn't help one feel too great Frowner

Argh- sorry for all the wah wah wahing! There are lots of folks worse off than me and I pray lots better off too!

Gail- I hope you are both doing better! It was nice to hear from you...I was getting worried.

Amy- so sorry about the side effects. I am like that too. Every new med brings a side effect or a sensitivity. Sigh.

Eileen- I am so sorry to hear about your gyne. It is always sad to lose someone we know and sadder still when you know there are kids involved.

Lynn- ah, at last help for you!

Laura- great news about the job!

Thinking of you all and wishing you good days and heads that are happy as possible!

Megan- I hope the postdrome clears up and you get some relief!

Be blessed-
Dawn
