Not a lot going on in droolieville today. School was fine. Brainbucket is well behaved. I do have a meeting at church tonite, so I won't be on the forum too long, but I still like to get a few minutes in.

Yay for pain free hours for Jamie!
Yay for no menstrual migraine for Kelly!
And LauraSue I really like the idea of being roomies - we just better have a really big house so we don't get on each others' nerves!

Hey everyone,

Its 8.12am on Wednesday morning here in Singapore; just starting my day. My past few days have been really rough, not with a migraine but with roid rage from the meds the doctor gave me. I have to take them for a week. It was to stop the attacks and give the preventives time to work but the side effects are just killing me.

I get exteremely angry with anyone and with everything they did, I'm shouting at the whole family, I can feel my stress rising and I'm full of rage; I knew it was the meds & I could see myself acting all crazy but couldn't stop it.

I went and got a long overdue hair cut yesterday and nearly bit her hairstylists head off. All because I was too indecisivie; I apologised to her.

2 more days of meds left and I assume that there will be some residual side effects even after I'm finished.

Going to get some groceries this morning & and then pick up my 4 year old from school and take to her Mandarin class. Fingers cross that its an uneventful day so no stress equals no rage.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Catharine,

I can totally relate. The steroid dose packs always make me crazy, too. Can't sleep, edgy, nervous, irritable, the whole thing. Oh, and night sweats and day time hot flashes. Lots of fun. Hang in there, this too shall pass. Just tell everyone it's the meds talking, not you!

LauraSue.
(I'm 55, have had severe migraines for over 4 years due to menopause, plus I have fibromyalgia. I take Imitrex plus Anaprox as an abortive and am working with my migraine specialist to find a preventive. I keep a detailed migraine diary and have made significant lifestyle changes to reduce my risk of migraines.)

Oh Catharine how awful for you. I've had those steroid packs once, for a poison oak. It was awful. Take care of yourself.

Ladies, I don't know what we are doing to do about that laundry fairy. She clearly is on vacation or something. Perhaps someplace exotic like Singapore!! She is avoiding my house also. Maybe she ran off with the vacuuming elf. He's been eyeing her you know.

I need to take a prescription over to the drug store, so I need to do a bit more here and get moving. I want to post about my wonderful doctor.

Take care everyone.

I'm taking the late shift in here again (or early shift with Catharine). I'm feeling cranky tonight and I'm not entirely sure why. It could be PMS or it could be the ever-present beastie lodged in my brain. Blargh.

DBF has a delicious beef stew cooking for dinner tonight so that should be good.

Work has been crazy and stressful. Hopefully it's calming down a bit now. Not good for the migraine brain. I miss checking in with you guys during the day. Heart
