Happy Saturday!

So, I got up way to early. Now I remember what it was like two years ago when I was up and showered and out the door at such an obscene hour! No more lying in the bed while DD gets ready for school, I miss it already LOL. But, since I'm getting up earlier during the week, sleeping in now means 7:00-7:30. I figure I better listen to my body clock in order to avoid a Migraine.

Doing our usual Saturday thing today - foodshopping and maybe a movie. The last movie I saw stunk! I won't say what it is in case others want to see it, I'll wait until it's out for a bit and then see what you guys think.

We were supposed to do Halloween decorations today but it's ugly outside again. It looks like it's about to rain and it's cold out there. Rain is in the forecast for tomorrow too so I'm not sure when the decorations will go up.

The Naval Air Show is this weekend and we live right outside one of the gates so traffic is going to be terrible all weekend and it's going to be loud too!

Have a great one, everybody!

Good Morning--

I'm almost all better with my hip. I tried to ride Harmoni yesterday for a lesson and had to just forget it. My hip isn't hurting when I just walk around, but stretching around a horse's ribcage was another story. Today I'll get on but on the longe line and just walk around and maybe trot a few minutes to stretch things out. I must have almost dislocated my artificial hip somehow, maybe by crossing my legs when I was sitting down. It's supposedly easier to dislocate than a normal hip but I never had this trouble before. It's been really weird.

Thank goodness for Diamox. I've been taking that since all our weather has been so unsettled and haven't been having headaches like I usually would. It sure is nice. The worst problems I've had have cleared up with some excedrin and about an hour of breathing oxygen.

The hospital asked me if I can work an extra 2 weeks, so now my job there won't be ending until after the first week in November. That's extra good, since the pharmacy where I'd like to start working wouldn't need me until December. Of course there's always CVS, but I haven't told them about my new availability yet. It's a good thing since the hospital can't seem to figure out how long they need me.

My big project for the day is folding up and putting away all the clean laundry and then I need to clean up the kitchen. I've been babying my leg a little and a few things got behind.

Laura--Good luck getting the halloween decorations up, sorry about all the airshow noise and traffic. We live so far out in the country that decorating outside for holidays is pretty much not worth the bother. We do put a Christmas Star over the Stable every year.

Hope everybody has a good day

Tracie
