G'morning, y'all.

I can't believe I'm up this early- and totally not sleepy.

I had one of those "fun" migraines yesterday- everything and the kitchen sink came back up. Uggh.

I was on a medrol steroid dose pack last week for my elbow- and <whew> I'm glad to be returning to normal.

What an emotional ride. The good news is that it does seem to have helped some. The pain and swelling are both down (woohoo) Thumbs Up - but I still have to be careful--especially not overdoing it when typing.

But, at least I can say "when typing" rather than "while lying around!"

That's it for me. I'm going to try one more time to get back to sleep, Zzzz'z but if that's not coming, I guess I'll watch TV.

On edit: I slept some. Now my head hurts. Head Banging Oh, it's raining. Great. At least I have another 15 minutes for my rescue drug to kick in and get the pain before I have to go to work.

Have a good one, y'all!

Sounds like a lot of us are in the same boat today.

I'm down with a migraine. I threw Skelaxin at it first thing, hoping it would knock it down a bit....didn't work.

So now we are onto Frova.

If it doesn't get any better, I'm going home. I am not dealing with "office noise" today. My ear drums feel like they are going to explode.

Oh the joy!

Talk to you all later.

Top o' the mornin' to you!

I'm here early. DH left for the office about 7:15, and the kitchen is clean, and the traffic is still too heavy to walk Sparky, so I'm able to get here early. I haven't read the rest of yesterday's thread yet, so I don't know how everyone's yesterday went, but I hope it went well.

Jamie -- What a treat to hear from you! How wonderful that you're getting better. Jamie and Eileen -- Monsters, Monsters, go away. Don't come again some other day.

Sol-- How great to hear from you! Use Dave's account all you want; we're always pleased to hear from both of you. I'm glad the morphine knocked you out, but I'm sorry you needed it. And snow! How thrilling. We had about 1/8 inch the beginning of March. My sister in Texas had 6 or 8 inches. Snow is unusual here, and unheard-of in March.

I had a very productive day yesterday. Got through all my piles of paper, and there weren't any snakes that slithered out. I've got an inch-high pile of things in my To-do folder, plus bills, and the ever-looming taxes, but things look doable, and my stress level is greatly reduced. I got a couple of important, time-sensitive things tended to.

The Botox yesterday did trigger a migraine, but my Skelaxin, Imitrex and Anaprox cocktail helped enough to let me get through my stacks.

Have a great day!

For some reason, the website doesn't want to make it easy for me to post to the tea room. Today's the second day in a row that I've lost my post. I don't think I did anything to deserve it today.

Jamie and Eileen -- Monsters, Monsters, go away! Don't come back another day! Jamie -- glad to hear you're doing better.

Sollie -- So glad to hear from you! That means you're feeling a little better this morning! And sleeping in a bed! What a treat!

We had a teeny bit of snow in early March. Unheard-of around here. The weathermen went wall-to-wall with winter storm warnings and predictions of snowfall down to the neighborhood level. It was pretty while it was falling, but it didn't stick. Didn't even make my deck slippery.

My stress level is much lower than yesterday. My triple cocktail knocked my Botox-induced migraine to a low enough level that I was able to trudge through all my piles of papers. No snakes slithered out, and I was able to tend to a couple of time-sensitive things. I've got bills to pay and about an inch-thick pile of things to do, but I feel much better.

I've been having an e-mail exchange with my mom this morning. Both she and my dad are computer-literate. She even beta-tested a new version of a sophisticated quilt design program. She's 77, and Daddy is 78. Amazing.

Good morning, all.

Jamie, you were up early. I hope you get to feeling better and got back to sleep.

Eileen & Solveig, I hope you get to feeling better, too.

I got my injections yesterday evening for my several days of migraines. They should help for a couple of days. I'm hoping that it will break the cycle. It sure had me depressed. I still have a slight HA this morning but the rest of me is starting to feeling better. Still feeling a little anxious. I was able to sleep better last night.

I'll have a couple of busy days here at work. We have a new employee starting tomorrow so I have to get things ready for her.

I hope everyone else will have a pain-free day.

HI gang - my computer is freaking out. Currently this typing is in some weird bold-face font I did not select. Wonder how it will come out when I post this? Danny was running diagnostics for me last nite - didn't find anything. Something is very wrong with my Windows programs. I've got a lot to do and 3/4 of it involves the computer. Taking a nap, well, no computer needed (Sollie, did you know that? Wink ). I may choose that one.

I'm getting started promoting my new mediation business so I went out to a 7 am networking meeting. Not bad but they had no food there and I hadn't left time to eat at home so I got home after with light-headedness and threatening beastie. I just ate lots of cheese and corn bread and I'm settling down a bit. Not sure how it's going to go.

Beasties leave Jamie and Eileen and Sollie and Heather (and me) and everybody else alone. Gretchen good for you getting through that paperwork - I may have to do some of that today too if the pooter don't shape up. BTW I thought Botox was supposed to Help!?

See you all later. I hope this comes out readable.

Good Morning,
Well I feel like a slacker this morning. It's just after 7 am here and the entire world has posted!!! Saturday morning I received an e-mail from my sister in Eugene Oregon that they had snow, measurable snow, the latest report of snow ever in Eugene. She wasn't happy, they had a big event that evening with people coming in from all over the state. We're expecting rain here in the Bay Area this afternoon, evening.

I'm so glad my 5 am call was cancelled today. DBF got up and went to work at 6:15 as usual, I got a few things done and now I will get myself ready for work. Not alot on the agenda today. He will go to bible study tonight and I will get chores done around here without him or kids around. It always goes faster without all the "help". I also enjoy the time to myself.

Sorry to hear there is so much of the beastie roaming about this morning. I hope he just roams right out in a timely fashion too.

Take care everyone.

Hello everyone. I am moving slowly. This is the 2nd day of a mild migraine. I took relpax the last two days so I can't today. I hope it doesn't come back .

The puppy is doing great but she's an EARLY RISER! Can't seem to get her to sleep past 6:15 or so. Today, I was so tired, I got up, fed her, and put all three dogs outside. They weren't happy but I was too tired to deal with her activity level. I snoozed for an hour or so and then let her in.

I have a nail appointment later but other than that, I plan on taking it easy today.

Sorry to hear that everyone's head is doing the same as mine. It seems we are all on the same migraine cycle. I've noticed that frequently we are all feeling good at the same time and bad at the same time. Interesting.

Have a great day.

Just dropping in quickly to say hi and good morning. I felt spectacularly awful last night, head pain was at an 8, horribly nauseous despite taking some promethazine (some of the nausea was from the Topa I think), plus tremors from the Topa. My doctor had okayed me increasing/decreasing my dosage as I needed to so I dropped it back down to 75 mg today, which is what I was taking last week before everything went crazy this past weekend. Hopefully my body settles down a bit.

Head pain isn't too bad yet today, but the nausea and dizziness have stuck around. The one-sided tingling hasn't gone away yet, and I haven't heard from my doctor yet. One of the nurses did call yesterday to let me know she would be passing along the message today when my doc returned to the office. Fingers Crossed Hopefully I hear something soon. If not, I'm calling my PCP.

Jenny, you asked yesterday if the tingling could be a side effect of the Topa. I don't think it is, because the Topa tingling I've had has been intermittent and equally on both sides of my body, and usually occurs after some activity (like walking or using the stairs). This particular tingling started after a weird wave of dizziness while I had been sitting on the couch for a while, and has been only on side of my body, and hasn't stopped since Saturday night. I have had some Topa tingling on top of that, but I've decreased my Topa dosage today to give my body a break. Thanks for thinking of that though!

Anyway, back to work for me - I'm thinking of all of you today. Heart and Group Hug

Mornin yall! (well afternoon to some of ya!)

Good to see everyone! I honestly havnt been trying to ignore yall and the tearoom! just been too busy or too headachy!

Sol, Great to see ya hun! ya isnt it wild to be getting snow this time of year in the Valley? We got some the end of March too, which was late, but this is really late for the lower elevations! Well eventually winter will give up I suppose. Tired of all the rain. Guess thats what we get for living in Oregon(and Washington)

Well yesterdays pain wasnt too bad, but today is not so hot a day. seems Im set into a daily pattern.
My lil TJ had a mild migraine yesterday that is continuing todya. No vomiting yet, but I had to send him to class to finish taking the WASL test. Today and tomorrow is Writing, and that is absolutly the WORST thing for him. He can tell you a story a mile long, but trying to write stories on paper is truly a frustrating difficult task for him.(dyslexia with dysgraphia) Keep him in your thoughts!

Anyway Im off to shower and run some errands. Trying to ignore the queasy tummy and angry head.

Hope yall have a great day, and those of you that have the beastie today slays it quickly!!

It seems to be one of those days for all of us.... I'm on late, b/c I woke up late. I was on a class trip for cosmetology school. I was supposed to be home by 7-8pm ish, but the bus blew out a tire and I didn't get home til 10!

My beastie hit at around 11am... peaked at a 7, but I'm down to a 4 pain level right now. I can barely think straight, but I'm still "working". Slowly, but I'm doing the best I can.

I can't take today off b/c I had a personal day yesterday.

I'm sorry to hear everyone is fighting a mig today. Frowner
I hope all of ours go away soon, or at least don't get too bad!

Max: Glad to hear your doing better. I know when I last checked in Friday you were really struggling. Smiler

Hi Everyone,

It sounds like most everyone is having a mig today. Hugs all the way around Group Hug

I am getting a late start on the board today, because Nicole was using my computer to do her last minute homework Uggg. Anyways, had a slight mig yesterday, but went to the spa with some friends. A day of relaxation was well needed.

My head seems to be clear today, So, I runninng by my old nuero office for paperwork, then getting things organized and ready to leave tomorrow for the Keeler Center YAHOOO!!! Wish me luck!! We will be back on Thursday night.

I have an 3 hour appt on Weds, then a hour on Thursday with Dr. Cowan. I am a little nervious about the drive, because I am due for my period on Sat. Yep, that means Migraines could start as early as tomorrow Hair Raising And since driving makes me nauseas (it is a 3-4 hour drive), I hope it won't be a long trip. But, gotta stay postive, I will be bringing plenty of ginger and barf bag LOL. Whatever it takes to get there. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Feel better everyone, talk to you Friday Big Grin

Boy I'm late coming on today--

Looks like there are a lot of migraine monsters running around. Hope at least some of you are getting the turkeys at least a little bit under control.

I spent all day yesterday dealing with the aftereffects of having Indian food while in the midst of migraine nausea. Stoopid!! Oh well, couldn't get out of it, but next time I only eat the bread and yogurt, period.

Back to myself today, no mig, no nausea. Spent the morning videoing my friend's horse that she wants to sell. A prospective buyer wanted to see some specific things in addition to the show performance video.

Dar--Good luck at the Keeler Center

MJ--Glad you're a little better today. Hope you have heard from the doctor by now.

Hoops--When Lance was a puppy, I was so thankful that DH can't sleep past 6a.m. That way he could deal all that a.m. energy.

Must go if I want to get my 10 minutes in on Harmoni today. I have to ride when Tom has all his chores done because I only have permission to ride not handle a horse.

Hi gang -
my poor little pooter is very sick. It thinks it has no memory when it has plenty. I've discovered that if I only have one program open at a time I can use it - for about 10 minutes. Then I have to reboot and start again. My pooter repair guy will call me in the morning then I get to hope whatever is going on doesn't take long (or much $$) to fix. Phooey! Anyway haven't been able to be on line long today and check in the way I usually do. Though I amused myself writing a silly blog post about all the stresses that aren't triggering a migraine. Still having some mild head pain and dizziness but no full-blown migraine. I had a long nap today which made my head better.

Hope you're all feeling well, or weller.

G'night!
- megs
