Thought I would start this morning, even though it's the holidays so there probably won't be as much traffic here as usual.

I am feeling ok today. I woke up with my usual migraine pain, but it's already faded. I realized yesterday that this is one of the better Christmases I've had in a long time. Yes, my migraines are the worst they've ever been, but I have a lot of other good things in my life that I'm thankful for. My holiday shopping hasn't been too stressful this year because I made a lot of presents. (I guess spending so much time at home on the couch has some advantages.) My mom understands my struggle with the beast as she has it too, so she isn't pushing me too hard or trying to fill up my schedule while I'm home.

Now, if I can just finish my sister's scarf before she gets home this afternoon, I'll be happy!

Group Hug Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it, and pain free days to everyone!

Happy Monday, MJ.

Glad that your mom is letting you relax and not pushing things for while you're there... it's nice to have that kind of relaxed vacation, IMHO.

I'm having the opposite- stressful, but it's okay. Soon enough I'll be back at home- I think I'll be glad to get back to work as a vacation.

I'm glad that you're able to look past the pain and find all of the good that you have in your life. That's such a wonderful skill, and realizing that things are going well, even with beasties popping up, there's still other wonderful things and peopple out there (some of them on this forum, IMO) Yes that can just make life beautiful. (Okay, I'm in a mushy mode tonight, in case you can't tell!)

I feel truly lucky to have the people in my life who care. That's a huge holiday present as far as I'm concerned. I'm lucky to have all of y'all, and my family- stressful although things may be.

Much love to all, and to all a good night! Group Hug

It's been a long Monday, here.

We had not baked a single cookie, so Kath banged out three batches this morning. I feel like I spent most of the day picking up someone's clutter.

At 4 p.m. we went to church for the Sunday school Christmas program. It's always fun to watch the kids.

Then we went out to eat and came home - dh played with trying to burn some family cds all night.

The presents are under the tree and I am enjoying some alone time for the first time all day.

Merry Christmas!

Deb
