So I used the Blue Oil balancing concentrate that I got from Aveda today. It smells great and kinda takes me out of my head for a second. I don't know it it will ease TTH, but I still like it.

About a minute after you put it on, it gets a little tingly from the peppermint oil - I had put it on my wrist at first and was like "what about the temples??!!" It does give a nice cooling effect to the temple area - which does seem to give some relief.

It's worth checking out if you are into that sort of thing. I think .24 oz cost me $24? It's a cute little small roll on bottle made of glass. Reminds me of the old roller ball lip glosses!

I have something similar to that from Bath and Body Works, though I don't think they sell it any longer. it's called "Headache Relief". I'll admit the peppermint on the forehead is a nice distraction but it sure doesn't last long, and only highlights the other areas on the head where there is pain.

Oh yes!

The BBW one is on "limited release" I think they only bring it out during semi annual sale time. At least that was when it came out when I worked there.

It's part of the Apothicary line.

Eileen,
I'm also a fan of "blue oil". It became handy for me this week when I was in a crowded waiting room. Another patient sat next to me smelling strongly of cigarette smoke (a trigger for me).

Although I'm very sensitive to scents, the "blue oil" is nose-friendly. It's a helpful "toolbox" item.
