Migraine

I changed my email account about a month ago. I've been trying to change my email on this forum, but it doesn't let me. I can change it while I am logged in and will receive the updates via email. But, once I'm logged off, the email changes back to my old one and I don't get them anymore.

Under 'my profile' there is a message that says "You have not verified your email address (by responding to the email sent from this site)." But, I never got an email from the site so I could verify it. I don't know how to get another email sent to me if that is what I need to do.

Does anyone have any solution to this or can help me?

I'm really not the most savvy about these things. When I get glitches like that kind of thing, usually someone either fixes it for me, if possible, or walks me through it.

I've only ever changed my email once, and that was right after we first started. I didn't have any problems with it defaulting back to the old one, so I'm not sure what's going on with yours, unless you've got a cookie or temp file or something that might be doing it. I know some people who have had random issues with logging in have cleared their cache and then been fine.

As for the responding to the email from the site thing, I think pretty much none of us ever got one when we signed up. The system doesn't really do that, even though the message says it does.

Anybody can feel free to correct anything I've goobered up in this post.

Yes, I had a similar problem when I changed my email. I never was able to fix it myself, but Teri fixed it. I still get the notice that I didn't respond to the verification email, but nothing bad has happened; I haven't been locked out or anything.

I am still having this login problem.

I emailed Teri, but haven't gotten a response. I'm sure she's very busy with other important matters.

Does anyone have any other suggestions of who might be able to help?
