Hey guys.

I have been looking at a new quote everyday, just to remember and find encouragement. So I just thought I would share a quote with you today.

“Hope is faith holding out its hand in the dark.”

Just thought I would add another good one I read today.

“May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope to make you happy.”

Those are good! I have one that I like from a book I read by Rita Mae Brown:

"It's better to live on your feet than die on your knees"

I always think of that as meaning "keep fighting, don't give up".

OMG Kate! That is my ALL time fav! So many times has that poem helped me so glad you enjoy it also!

That is an absolutely amazing peom! I had never heard that one before. I assume since the author is unknown that your cousin didn't write it? I love poetry that has such meaning like that. Thanks for sharing!

Footprints is my fav too. I have a keychain in the shape of a foot with part of the poem on it.

Mine is:

me and my friends watched the movie patch adams..... and i remembered the saying

"laughter is the best medicine."

as a nursing student i try to remember that, and make my patients smile. also, when i feel horrible, something funny or amusing always helps....

I love having a good laugh... came across these quotes and had a bit of a giggle.. hope you folks do the same...
