Thank you all so, so much. Rough day yesterday.

Emmerich is my bud. I appreciate his help getting this posted. I immediately felt a wave of love and knew the news was up here on the board.

Daddy died here at home with Mom at his side, me at his feet, my daughters behind us and the hospice nurse near. He died completely peacefully. God had taken away his pain 3 weeks ago in what can only be described as a miracle. No joke, he stopped asking for pain meds and had taken none for the last 3 weeks and he had been alternating OxyContin and Lortab and was taking Lexapro. Both Mom and the nurse continuously asked him if he was hurting and he reassured them that he was not.

He was conscious and lucid until right at the end.

Thank you, thank you beyond words for your good thoughts and prayers.
